Nico woke up with Will asleep and hugging him. And he smelt terrible. Sweat and dirt. He looked grimy and messy. Despite all that, Nico still though Will was perfect without any flaws. A godly being with the heart of the most lovable human.
Nico sat up straight and yawned. Rubbing his eyes, he looked down. He went cherry-red from the sight. He had fallen asleep right after taking a shower and had still been wearing the towel around his body. And well, he was naked. Butt-naked. And it didn't help that such a hot boy was sleeping next to him.
Nico smiled.
Will looked so peaceful and innocent. It was almost as if he had turned back to a baby. A cute and handsome baby. Nico gently passed his fingers through Will's golden, tangled hair. It was matted then, from all the practices Will had done in the day, but Nico didn't mind. He loved Will in any form, in any condition.
Tenderly, Nico touched Will's cheek and kissed it. He could feel Will's warm breath on his cheek. You're going to be the death of me, William. And I'll gladly die for you.
Oh, fuck. Please don't let there be a boner. Please. I'm in no mood right now.
But let's be honest, teachers always check homework when you haven't done it, and boners always happen when you aren't in the mood.
Will, I'm so sorry, darling, Nico thought and went to the bathroom. He knew it was bad, you know, jerking off on someone who was right before you, but sometimes, it couldn't be helped.

Nico had finished his business in the bathroom when he came out, dressed and fresh as a daisy. He looked at the clock, and it was 10:06 p.m. Just as he was about to go spend a little more time with Will, he noticed the crumpled piece of paper on his nightstand. He went to the table and picked it up reluctantly.
Nico wasn't excited to meet Percy after what had happened that night in the strawberry fields. But still, this time, there seemed to be a small feeling that it was real. It was genuine. But you can't just tell it from a piece of paper, can you?
Percy, what have you done?
Nico sat at edge of the bed on the floor, rubbing his temples. He turned at looked at Will, with a concerned expression. He didn't want Will to know whatever had happened to him. What if Will would look down on him and break up? What if Will never talked to him ever again, knowing whatever had happened to Nico?
Will, no matter what happens, I'll always love you. Please forgive me, my love.
And with that, he left the cabin.

Percy was sitting near the banks of the Canoe Lake, picking at the ground with a stick.
He regretted doing what he had done that day at night in the strawberry fields. He knew he had acted like a monster that day, and he was guiltier than ever. I should've never done it, Percy thought.
The stick he had in hand broke and went tumbling into the lake.
He looked at his watch and realized it was already 10:10 p.m. Percy felt a wave of realization flood him. Nico wasn't coming. He should've known. Why would Nico ever come? After all that Percy had did to him, he didn't expect Nico to ever come to him.
But suddenly, leaves rustled. Percy stood up in attention, his hand mechanically going to Riptide.
However, what he saw amazed him.
Nico di Angelo coming from behind the bush. His chocolate brown eyes were uncertain and reluctant, but still pretty. His lips were plump and beautiful as ever, though. His hair was ruffled, like he had just come out of bed. He held a small, crumpled piece of paper in his hand.
When Percy saw Nico, he again had this overwhelming feeling of being home. Of belonging. He wanted to drop to his knees and bed Nico to forgive him. He wanted to tell Nico how bad and miserable he felt. He was ready to do anything Nico told him to, he wanted to do everything Nico told him. He wanted to say sorry and plead. But something restrained him from doing it. He didn't feel capable enough, nor courageous.
No doubt, Percy had saved the world, but he felt like he was a coward in front of Nico. A coward who couldn't express his feelings, nor respect other's boundaries. He felt like a coward who had no control over his mind, nor body.
As Percy saw Nico coming towards him, a depressing, heart-rending feeling fell over him. He wanted to protect the boy standing in front of him, but he couldn't even save that precious gem from himself. He wanted to do everything he could to make Nico happy, and yet he himself made the boy sad. He wanted to love Nico, and still he made Nico hate him.
Nothing was going as Percy had planned with Nico. And that scumbag Will... he wasn't even allowing Percy to try.
Life sucks, Percy thought.
