It was thirty minutes past seven on the next day, and Nico wasn't to be seen anywhere. Will and Percy were panicking. Both of them had completely lost their minds and they did not know what to do. They were angry on themselves as of why they had left Nico alone during the night.

Not only on himself, Percy was furious on Will too. According to what Will had said, they both had fallen asleep near the Canoe Lake. After an hour or two, Nico had woken up and aroused Will to. Since they had been sleeping on the land, Nico suggested that they should go inside the Hermes Cabin. Will had agreed and they had entered the cabin holding hands. Once they reached the bunk bed, Nico went in and slept. Because Will's bed was a little far from Nico's, he went there and disappeared in a deep slumber. And the next thing Will knew was that Nico had vanished into the thin of the night.

The only hint that Nico had ever come to the cabin was Nico's aviator jacket left in between the U-shaped line of different Cabins. The grass near the jacket had turned dry in a circular pattern, with the diameter being almost a yard. The grass had died so mercilessly, it seemed to have changed it's green color to black.

Percy hardly cried, but that day, he unconsciously had shed a tear or two. He really cared for Nico, who had started meaning a lot to him in just a single day. With a shaky breath, he glanced around himself. Crowds of demigods had gathered around Will and Percy, who had been the first to discover that Nico had gone missing and that his jacket had been left behind. The half-bloods were whispering and some had a worried expression on their face. Chiron had also been alarmed at the disaster and joined to examine what had happened. He had even told a few campers to go in search of Nico even though Percy and Will had already done that twice.

Will couldn't stand it anymore. He had tried his best to break into a crying mess the moment he saw Nico was no-where in the Camp. He had gone with Percy to find Nico in the North Woods, the Canoe Lake, the volleyball court, near Thalia's Tree and everyplace they could think of. For a tad bit, Will had suspected that Percy was behind all this, because the previous night Nico has told him "I was with Percy. He was explaining me some shit about the Greek Mythology and stuff" when Will had asked him where he was. But seeing the cold sweat and trepidation on Percy's face, Will had decided Percy was as innocent as himself.

To not try to explode his anger and sadness on the crowd, Will somehow excused himself and went to Thalia's tree. There he could peacefully think of anything that may help to find Nico. He was extremely worried if Nico had been taken away by some monster, which would be worse than it already sounded. As Will took an uncertain step further and sat under the pine tree, a salty tear trickled down his cheek.  He did not want to show anyone that he had such a vulnerable side, especially the reason being none other than Nico di Angelo. Because if it ever came out, Will didn't know what the enemy could possibly do to Nico to get what he wanted from Will. But right now, Will was breaking up. Never in his life ever did he think that staying away from Nico could hurt so much. Will was feeling as if his legs and hands were made of Jello-O, so wobbly that he did not have any control over his limbs anymore. Will did something he would never do - he cursed. "Fuck this" he whispered. "Fuck this shit" Will repeated. "I want you here, Nico, here, next to me. Please come back" he said, as tears started streaming down his eyes. He had been holding the salty water for the longest time, but he couldn't anymore. He put a hand on his mouth, letting out a frustrated, muffled whimper, teardrops wetting his whole face. Will pulled his hair in an attempt to lessen the pain; he screamed, he snickered, he moaned, he sniffled - all in vain. He was stressing out, trying to cut the whole world out. So Will cried. He cried until he couldn't anymore. He cried until he couldn't breath. He cried until he forgot who he was.

On the other side, Percy's condition was no better. He had secretly taken Nico's aviator jacket from the place where the disaster had struck and locked himself in his Cabin. He did not want to go do the sword practice. He did not want to swim in the Canoe Lake. He did not want to climb the lava wall. All Percy wanted to do was cry. He took a deep breath and fell face-first onto his bed. Everything he could think of right now was of how to bring Nico back. In little time did he realize he was crying when he felt the bed-sheet getting wet against his face. But he couldn't help himself. He couldn't help but miss the scent of Nico when he was on Percy's bed last night. Percy couldn't help but smell the pillow where Nico had laid his head, wishing he was still there, wishing he could still ruffle Nico's raven hair.

Percy stood up went to the bathroom, thinking of splashing some cold water on his face could help him steady himself. He felt that maybe being near water could calm him down and help him think appropriately. Maybe it could help him guess properly where Nico disappeared. Or maybe help him cry less, to talk the least.

As Percy stepped inside the bathroom, he headed for the basin and fulled his cupped hands with water and splashed it on his face. But doing so did not help one bit, instead, he cried more, and louder. Still wearing his orange 'Camp Half-Blood' shirt and jeans, he switched on the shower. The cold droplets pierced Percy's skin like he was being poked with needles. He ran a hand through his black, wet hair and cried, feeling every blob of water hit his skin fiercely. He let out a frustrated scream and banged his head against the wall. As he slid down the shower wall, he cried. For several moments, he felt like wailing would bring Nico back, like it would heal all his wounds and magically make Nico reappear.

Percy could still not believe that he could have fallen for Nico in the span of a single day, much less imagine it would hurt so much to not have Nico by his side. That it would pain so much to not have him hold his hand or just at least have Nico near him. Percy leaned his head on the wall, with the shower head still on and his clothes still wet and his feelings still raw.
