Spider-man's POV

As I walked around patrolling with the guards some would come up to me and ask for a quick photo or autograph. I didn't mind doing it, but it just didn't seem like the appropriate time to do so.

I swung around the Met from time to time making sure there was no signs of break ins. It was a pretty boring night, honestly. I was kinda
hoping for a certain someone to show up, but it was already 11 o'clock. I just assumed she wasn't going to come.

I guess I should be glad. Last thing I need is someone stealing the Mona Lisa under my watch.

"Hey, Spider-man!", the guard shouted to get my attention. Which worked because I turned around to face him. "We're all gonna head inside you gonna join us?"

"Uh...", I looked around once more making sure nothing suspicious was happening. My eyes landed back on the guard. "Yeah, i'm coming in"

"Maybe when we get inside you could sign something for my kid? He's a big fan"

I chuckled lightly. "Sure"

We all walked in and locked the doors behind us.

I crawled around on the ceiling and sides of the wall checking the vents and windows. Once I was finished I stuck a web to the ceiling and slide upside down on it to the ground.

The guard from earlier whistled at my action. "It's amazing you can stay upside down like that. You really are like a spider"

I shrugged my shoulders. "Anyone can do this. The only difference with me is I won't pass out"

"Well, it still makes it pretty impressive. I can understand why my son is so infatuated with you", the guard laughed.

"Oh, that reminds me. I pulled out a piece of paper and handed to the guard. "Here you go...", I looked down at his name tag. "Officer Stacey?"

"Captain actually", Opening up the paper he read it. Inside was a little note and my autograph for his son. "Thanks Spider-man my kid will love this"

I smiled even though he couldn't see it. "No prob-"

I was interrupted when I heard a banging at the front of the building. Every guard around me automatically pulled out their pistol. Flipping myself back to my feet I landed on the ground and let my web go.

I started to feel a tingling sensation. "WATCH OUT!"

I dove to the Captain just as a bullet ran past him. I could hear the glass of the front doors shattering and footsteps piling in.

"You alright?", I asked the Captain as I helped pull him to his feet.

"Yeah, thanks to you".

Grabbing his gun from the ground he started to fire. His men took that as a signal and started doing the same thing.

I could hear more windows and doors shattering all around us.

"They've got us surrounded, Captain!", I shouted.

He whipped his head in all directions as the criminals came charging in. "LISTEN UP MEN!", The Captain yelled. "NOT A SINGLE THINGS GOES MISSING FROM THIS MUSEUM!"

"YES SIR!", they all shouted in unison.

I started shooting my webs at the criminals trapping them. Many seemed to all come at me, but they were just low life thugs who depended on their weapons so it wasn't hard to knock them out.

I took out as many men as I could while making sure all the guards were safe.

My breathing got hard with every punch I threw. "Hey guys!", I was almost out of breath. "I'm getting real tired you think maybe we could do this another day?"
