You made your way through the village as you reached your family cottage
"I'm back" you announced walking in when your mom walked up to you as she swung a dress over her, displaying it in front of you

"So, what do you think?" She asked as you just examined it
"It's.. very detailed than most of the dresses I've seen today" you answered truthfully
"You think so? I've spent month on this" she said folding the dress up
"You did a good job on it, it's honestly beautiful" you complimented
"You would stand out a lot tonight" you then added
"Aww, you think so? As much as I would love to, I won't be able to, considering that I made this for you"
"Wait.. what? Really?" You asked completely shocked and surprised
"Of course, tonight is your night, go out and have some fun for once, but obviously, don't go too far out away from the village"
"You're the best!" You exclaimed when you hugged her as she returned it
"I'll be heading out in a bit to help set up, don't be too late" she said patting your head before walking out of the room

"What's up?" Fae asked as she ran up to you
"The sky?" You answered questionably
"I meant with what you're doing" she snorted with a little laugh
"Honestly, nothing as of right now"
"Still coming tonight?" She asked
"Surprisingly yes, but only because my mom made a dress for tonight that she worked on for months, just for me, and I don't want to upset her by wasting her time making it just for me not to attend"
"Well at least we can go together, a girl's night out"
"Really?" You asked as Fae nodded
"I don't have a partner either so we can just go together as friends and have a little bit of fun and just chill"
