"I almost got into trouble last night" you sighed later that day leaning against your cottage outside, sitting on the ground

"How?" Jack asked, sitting beside you

"Coming back late" you answered with a tint of blush

"Oh.."

"Yeah, if it weren't for the festival itself to use as an excuse, I would've been dead"

"At least you managed to stay alive" he joked

"Says the one who is the innocent child" you scoffed elbowing him in the side a little

"Or at least I'm the innocent type to everyone around me" he corrected

"That explains last night then" you joked back making him look over at you

"H-hey! You wanted it!" He exclaimed now extremely flustered

"Didn't mean that you had to" you commented back

"At least you enjoyed it" he scoffed rolling his eyes, looking away

"Who wouldn't? you stole my first kiss, and you're extremely good at it" you teased poking his cheek

"Then that makes the two of us"

"You never had your first kiss?" You asked

"I have now" he answered

"I meant before last night" you corrected as he just shook his head

"Wow, how bad of a friend am I?" You asked leaning back onto the cottage

"What are you talking about?" He asked now confused

"We've been friends for years, how did I not know about you never having a first kiss?"

"Even if I did, I don't think I would be telling you about my personal life" he laughed

"I know a lot about your personal life, for your information" you said hugging your knees

"Then let me clarify that, my love life"

"Boy, you never had a girlfriend, no love life existed before us" you scoffed shoving jack aside a little

"You don't need a girlfriend to have a love life, what about crushes? Friends with benefits? Hook ups?" He questioned

"So you hooked up with someone?" You asked now going back to hugging your knees

"I am not talking about this!" He exclaimed now getting flustered and jumpy

"I'll just take that as a yes, you do you, no judgment" you said raising your hands a little in defeat

"No, I haven't, never want to nor would I ever" he then answered

"But didn't you just do so last night?" You questioned aloud making him a little bit more jumpy

"I-I meant with someone that I'm not even with!"

"So a one night stand?"

"If you want to put it like that.."

"Just to make this fair, I haven't hooked up with anyone either, outsides with you" You then said making him look over at you silently

"I wouldn't really count that as a hook up, we didn't even do anything to make it like that" He said softly before resting his chin on his hand that was placed on his knee

You stayed silent to that in thought before realizing what he meant

"Oh.."

That was all you could manage to say before creating silence between you two for a short second
