"You okay?" Your mom asked later on that night as she came in to take the tray out from your room

"Not really, Fae's mad at me"

"Oh? Just give her some time, she'll come around eventually"

"She's mad because she said that she was an outcast back when me, her and Jack were hanging out"

"So she felt as if she's not a part of the group?" She questioned

"I guess.. but I always hang out with her, if not, maybe even more than I did with Jack himself, We always hanged at her place, if not, we are all outside either talking or playing with the other kids"

"Have you ever thought that maybe you're not the one she feels invisible to?" Your mom then said over to you

"What do you mean?" You asked, sitting up

"Well, you and her always go off together, constantly, maybe what she's feeling is towards Jackson, maybe she feels invisible to him, after all, I don't recall ever seeing them hang out together, alone"

You just sat there silently thinking when your mom walked towards the door, holding onto the tray

"Maybe you should try to talk to her whenever you feel better, if she doesn't come around before then" she then said before walking out the room, closing the door behind her

It does make a lot of sense though.. all of this started because of her telling him to leave with her, and even I don't know if they even ever hanged out together alone or not, so am I the problem in this? Wait, could she be jealous over me because of him? Or jealous over him? It could also be the two of us.. What if she secretly has or had feelings for him?

Your mind was racing through thoughts when you just ended up groaning in frustration as you took a pillow and threw it over your face

"Damn you, Jackson"

Within three days tops, you were already feeling better from your sickness as you were now able to go out once more, but with caution

The first thing you did once being able to go out, was find Fae, you had to know what was really going on and to also help ease your mind

It took a while but eventually you found her alongside one of the woodworkers who was carving as you ran over to them

"We need to talk"

"No"

"I'm serious, we can't just live with this forever"

"I don't mind doing that" Fae then said back making you sigh

"Do you like him or something? It really do seem that way now that I've been thinking about it"

"Like him? Are you crazy?" She then asked, stopping in her tracks due to hearing that sentence

"So you don't like him?" You asked

"No, I like him, but not in that way" she simply answered before walking away from you

"Then why did you basically throw a fit the other day?"

"I already told you"

"Are you mad at him about always hanging out with me and not you or are you mad about me being the one always with him?"

"I'm just not even going to answer that"

"Geez you are so complicated"

"Am not" she argued, turning to face you, a little ticked off

"Then just tell me!" You exclaimed now getting ticked off as well

"It's both okay?! Every time we hang out, the attention is always between you two! I'm literally invisible to y'all!" She then blurted aloud

"What are you talking about? Half of the time we hang out, it's usually at your place"

"That's just a place, not me, I am nothing compared to you two" she then said before speaking once more

"But now.. Someone else can finally see what it feels like being invisible"
