"Shut up."

Harry was awfully clingy, clinger than he had ever been. At first, when Louis had arrived from Goldwing, he had shrugged it off as the omega merely missing him, but several hours had passed since then, and still, Louis had a very clingy Harry on his hands. "I didn't even say anything." He grumbled back, baring his neck as Harry nuzzled against his scent gland. "Shut up." It was a weak growl that had emitted from Harry; a failed attempt at imitating an alpha's growl. "So what fun things did you do while I was aw— ouch." He winced at the pain that tingled around his bonding spot. "Don't bite me. The bite you gave me is still fresh." Harry hummed noncommittally before Louis felt the omega licking carefully over the bite.

"You're extremely possessive today, aren't you?" His attempt at initiating small talk had gone futile. "Harry?" Breathing out a quiet sigh, he shifted in his seat, rolling his eyes when he noticed Harry had fallen asleep. With his head lying in the crook of Louis' neck, Harry slept in contentment, parted lips emitting soft, barely noticeable snores ever so often. Admitting his defeat, he shuffled them until he was lying on the bed (instead of his previous position where he had been sitting with the support of the bedpost), with Harry atop him, head still nestled in his neck. Harry barely stirred in the process, the omega not even moving when Louis reached towards the bedside table to pick up his phone.

He laid there, scrolling through his emails, responding to some ceremonial ones with just a paltry amount of difficulty, while leaving some significant ones for later. "What a fucking snob." He muttered, discarding the heavily-jargoned email Richard had sent him in the form of a greeting, explaining how he had personally selected only the best for him and his omega (he didn't need to know about how he had chosen one of the luxurious suite from the ten extravagant suites the pack possessed). He was pulled out of his stupor by a high-pitched whine, a slew of incohesive words following quickly after the sound of protest.

"Stay still, and put a finger on your lips." Harry directed his index finger up to his lips, while all Louis could do was stare at the omega with wide, confused eyes. His mind finally picked up the hint, gaze still latched onto the green of the omega's eyes

"I'm not a fucking pup." He spat out, averting his eyes to the wall behind Harry instead as he yanked his finger from the loose clutch of Harry. "I know." Mirth danced along with the golden specks of his irises, a tiny smile pulling at his lips. "Alright, seriously what happened while I was away? I know you're creepy with all that staring, but not to this extent." Harry froze for a second, the sudden pallor of his face concerning Louis. "I just missed you." Harry leaned down, peppering kisses along his jawline, nipping at the skin lightly.

Satisfied with the answer, he closed his eyes, cupping Harry's face in his hands as the omega pressed their lips together. He hoped the passion he was pouring in the kiss conveyed he had missed Harry as well.

Only a little, though.

By nightfall, Harry had slowly but surely stopped clinging onto him like a baby Koala. They had a simple dinner of mac and cheese by the kitchen counter, Harry's 'cooking playlist' left playing in the background. The songs were too slow and soft to be considered as something that boosted Harry's morale up while he cooked, but Louis shrugged it off, sharing the things he had experienced in Goldwing.
