What happened?

Steve decides to go in first and test the waters, see if Bucky is actually Bucky. He is in there for while before shouting for me to come through. I walk through and Bucky instantly smiles at me when he sees me.
"Hey buck"
"Hey Max"
We just stare at each other, steve walks over to me and takes my hand. "We will leave you too to talk okay"
I nod. He mouths "I love you" I smile and touch his cheek.
I walk over to Bucky and sit next to him.
"Max I'm so sorry"
"Bucky you have nothing to be sorry for. This wasn't your fault"
"I feel like I haven't seen you in ages"
"Well it's been a while Barnes. I've missed you"
"I missed you too" I take his hand in mine.
"I'm so sorry this happened to you again buck"
He looks at me sadly. He leans his head on my shoulder and relaxes at my touch. After a while of silence, Bucky speaks.
"So You and steve?"
"What?"
"Max it's okay. I'm not mad."
"Bucky im so sorry"
"It's okay. I didn't expect you to wait around for me max. I still care so much about you. Your one of my best friends"
I feel a tear roll down my cheek "hey, don't cry"
"I feel like I betrayed you. You were going through hell and I was falling in love with your best friend"
"Don't be silly max. I know you guys were doing everything you could to save me."
He wraps his arm around my shoulder and pulls me close.
"You did nothing wrong okay"
I nod "so you love him Huh?"
"Yeah I really do"
"I'm happy for you. He might be my best friend but if he hurts you I'll kill him"
I look up shocked at him "probably not the time to joke about killing people right"
I laugh "not really buck"
"Sorry" I hug him right. Steve comes back and clears his throat.
"Hey"
"Hey" I walk over to him and kiss him.
"I'm sorry buck, I didn't mean for this to happen"
"Don't apologise steve. You guys look good together"
He smiles up at us and I can't help but smile back.
"So what's the plan?"
"We need to get to siberia"
"How?"
"We need help"
"This is going to get messy steve"
"I know max but we have to stop that guy. He can't get to the other soliders"
I nod, he is right "I know where there is Quinn jet we can borrow."
"Okay. Let's call in some help"

We pull up to a car garage and steve steps out, Sharon is standing there waiting. I'm in the back with Bucky and Sam Is sat in the front seat.
Sharon is talking and she lifts the boot to show, Steve's shield and sams wings. She puts her hand on Steve's arm, I automatically get uncomfortable. What is this bitch doing.
She goes in for a kiss and steve pulls away, I go to get out of the car and Bucky holds on to my arm and shakes his head.
I see steve shaking  his head and then he points to the car. I can see Sharon, looking a little embarrassed. Steve takes his things and comes to the car and places it in the boot. Sharon drives away and I get out of the car.
"Seriously?"
"I put her in her place max, you saw all of it"
"I know but damn she has some balls"
He laughs "well I don't care. I love you no one else"
I smile and kiss him "I love you too"
"Alright love birds we got some where to be"
We get back in the car and drive to meet the rest of the team. When we pull up, Clint is waiting for us with Wanda "hey Barton, Wanda"
"Hey max. Cap"
"Thanks for doing this"
"I owe you a debt remember"
"What about our other recruit"
"Had to put some coffees in him but he's good" he opens the door of the van and out jumps a guy.
"Captain America? It's an honour. I'm shaking your hand for too long."
I giggle "your Maxine stark right?"
"That's me" he shakes my hand "nice to meet you"
We hear the speaker announce for the airport to be vacated and we know instantly my dad is here.
We walk down to the air field.
"Max. Come home baby"
"No dad, I'm helping steve and Bucky"
"So your going to be a wanted fugitive just like them"
"He didn't do this dad"
Before long after a lot of back and forth, we all end up fighting. My dad bought Nat, Black Panther, vision. Rhodes and Peter. I couldn't believe the sight in front of me. My whole family fighting each other.
We are all pitted against each other when he didn't need to be. We start to realise we aren't all getting out of this. So Sam and Scott make a plan to cause a distraction so Me, steve and Bucky can get to the jet.
With the help of Nat we manage it.
"How are we going to help all of them steve?"
"We will I promise"
Bucky looks so lost "I'm not worth all this guys"
"Buck. What's happened to you isn't your fault okay. We are going to fix this"
We fly off, I look back and see Rhodey get hit with Visions ray. I scream.
Steve puts the jet into auto pilot and runs to me, I'm crying so much I can hardly breathe.
"Shhhhh.....he will be okay Max"
"How do you know that?"
He doesn't answer me. He just holds me and rocks me. Rhodey has been there for me for as long as I can remember. If he dies because of this stupid fight. I don't know what I will do. I can feel the power inside of me rushing to the service. I push steve away from me, he is shocked at my action.
"Stay away steve, the power it's too much"
"Max calm down, just breathe. Your not going to hurt me"
"I don't know that and neither do you. Please steve"
He steps back. Bucky is stood there watching me so scared "I'm sorry max, they did this too you because of me"
"No buck, it wasn't you okay"
I sit as far away on the back of the jet as possible. I focus on my breathing and just pray I don't let out all of my frustration and anger inside this jet. Because If I do I don't think we would survive.
