What do i do?

I'm sat up on the roof, crying. I can barley breathe. I hear the door open and I jump of the table and back away.
"Steve please"
"Max I know your not going to hurt me"
"Steve, I'm a monster"
"No your not. Your so far from a monster okay"
He reaches out for me "steve no"
"Trust me"
He pulls me into a hug, I drop and he cradles me to him. He holds me tightly.
"I'm so sorry"
"Hey, you have nothing to be sorry for okay"
"I hurt you"
"You didn't mean too"
I sob harder "they lied to me, my entire life"
"I know, and I'm so sorry"
"And now she is dead and I can't be mad at her"
"I know sweetheart I know"
"I'm scared. What if they get me and they use me"
"I'm not going to let that happen you understand"
"But steve....."
"No. I love you Max. I'm not letting anyone get to you"
I look up at him shocked at what he just said
"You love me?"
He smiles and cups my cheek "I do"
"I love you too steve"
He brings my lips to his and kisses me softly. I feel all the stress and anger melt away. The truth was I had fallen in love with steve and I couldn't deny it anymore.
"Come on, let's get you to your room okay"
"You need to lock me away steve"
"No. I know you won't hurt anyone. I'm not locking you up. I'm going to be by your side all the way okay"
I nod and take his hand. He walks me to his room , he hands me some of his sweat pants and a T-shirt and I get changed and settle in bed.
"Are you hungry?"
"Kind of"
"Okay I'll go make you something okay"
"No steve please don't leave me"
"Okay. Let me just go to talk to Nat okay"
"Okay"
Steve called Nat and asked her to order us some food and bring it to his room.
He came and lay next to me and I snuggled into his chest. We lay there for while just the sound of our breathing filling the room.
After a while Nat knocks on the door, and steve gets up and grabs the food. I can hear Nat asking about me and telling steve my dad is worried. Steve tells Nat to tell him I'm okay but I don't want to see him right now.
He walks over to the bed and places the food down.
"Steve"
"Yeah"
"Thank you"
"Of course. Eat. Please"
I nod and we eat our food. I didn't realise how hungry I was.
After food, we watch a movie. I can feel myself nodding off. Steve makes me feel so safe.

Steve POV

Max is asleep on my chest, I feel so sorry for this woman. She has been through so much today. I can't believe Tony would keep that away from her. It's like he has stopped her knowing a apart of herself.
I can feel her starting to move slightly, she is saying something in her sleep but I don't know what. I run my fingers through her hair trying to soothe her.
"Steve"
"Max"
She is still asleep, "steve, please"
"Max wake up"
"Steve!!!! Please!!!!! Help me!!!!!"
I shake her, I have to wake her up. "Come on max wake up"
She shoots her eyes open and there completely white. She pushes me away and falls. She runs to the corner of the room. I can hear her crying. I get up and slowly walk towards her. I can see silver light coming from her fingers
"Max, it's me steve"
"Don't please. I don't want to hurt you"
"Max you won't"
"I did steve. I've done it twice now. I'm dangerous. Jarvis"
"Max No"
"Jarvis call my dad, tell him to come to Steve's room now"
"Yes Miss Stark"
"Max please don't do this"
"I have too for everyone's sake"
Tony walks in and I stand in front of max.
"Steve?"
"Dad I need you to lock me away"
He pears around me and looks at max "what?"
"Just trust me okay, I'm dangerous I need to be locked away. Until we figure out what's going on please dad."
"Okay if that's what you need"
I stand in front of her again "no this isn't happening she isn't a monster she doesn't deserved to be locked up"
I feel her hand on my shoulder, she is sending a light wave of electricity through me, it's uncomfortable but it doesn't hurt.
"Steve please. I need to do this"
"Max...."
"Steve I love you. Ill be okay I promise"
I reluctantly move so she can walk past, I grab her hand and pull her to me. I kiss her with as much love and passion as I can.
"I'm going to get this sorted okay. I promise you"
"I know you will steve."
"I love you"
"Walk me down please?"
"Okay"
I hold her hand and walk her to the cells in the tower. I hate this. I can't lock her up. This isn't her fault. I need to figure this out. There has to be a way to stop all of this. Bucky would know he has too. He remembers things from when he is the winter solider. I need to get him back and we can fix this together.
Max walks into the cell and I follow. Tony puts a dampener on her wrist to soften her powers.
"Max im going to fix this okay. Trust me."
"I do trust you."
I kiss her again "I love you"
"I love you too"
And with I walk out and she is locked in that cell like a monster.
