I follow him up the steps, him 6 steps ahead. we get to the top and he stops, me almost running into him. He stands there like he's waiting for something. Something or someone. He turns his face to the side and points, "This way if you will." and starts walking. I follow him like it's the only choice I have, Like it's my destiny because if what he's saying is true then I will finally get peace. We go through halls, climb stairs, walk through double doors, over and over again. he hums a tune while we travel through the halls.

"Ben?" I mutter under my breath. He continues to hum the tune, it's a nice tune, maybe another one of his songs.

"Ben." I repeat but he still hums. I stop in my tracks thinking he would notice and he did. He stops and turns towards me. Starring in my eyes with a small frown. He didn't look confused, he just looked worried. Worried I might turn around and leave? He walked a little closer and spoke.

"We're almost there."

I stared at the ground, down at my feet . Hoping they would just disappear, lift off the ground.

"Through that door" he spoke softly.

We walked down a dark corridor, one that I've never seen before and I've been all over this hospital. The walls were a darker yellow then the rest of the hospital and the floor was an amber red while the rest of the hospital was the white tiles.

I pass Ben and go through the double door, they squeak and rattle. It hasn't been opened for a while, the place looked abandoned. It's an old part of the hospital, all of the equipment was old timey from back in the 1900's. I guess they decided not to update it and just build new parts of the hospital. It wasn't scary or creepy. It was peaceful, nice and comforting. There was a calm slow breeze and the smell of dust in the air. I slowly walked in with ben creeping not to far behind. The doors closed slowly behind us with a soft thud at the end.  He quickly ran passed me and went towards a large object covered by an even larger blanket. The blanket along with everything else has thick layers of dust on them. Ben whips the blanket off the object, sending dust spiraling into the air in all sorts of spirals and loops, under it a piano. He looked my way and huffed.

"I need your help and no one else likes me here, your the only one that least sorta listens to me"

He sits on the small stool and hovers his hand over the keys. He sits there, hands in the air for a second before looking my way. He points to a chair. I pull the chair a little closer to him and sit.

He looks back at the piano before closing his eyes.  Letting out a soft long sigh, he started playing. His hands moved with such grace to each key. His motions were soft and gentle, thinking one wrong move, the piano would shatter into millions of pieces, it was comforting. I watched his hands cautiously, as if the world would end if he messed up. I watched his eyes, opening, looking at the keys, then closing again. I watched his mouth, open and closing with low hums. "Ok I need lyrics, this is what I have so far." he said while pulling out a piece of paper. We went over the lyrics, me adding some things, him adding some, taking things out, fixing things. After going through it a dozen times we put it all together and he started to play, singing the lyrics, me singing along, though of course not as good as he was.  It was honestly amazing. The calm breeze still in the air, soft piano sounds and his angelic voice echoing through the empty hospital room. I continued to study him, as if he was the most important person on this planet, and for a moment he was.
