With the corridor around music room swarming with girls, the atmosphere apprehensively seemed tense. Comments in awe and criticism passed from mouth to mouth.

Music room being currently occupied by the club members, excluding Pink Quad, it was impossible for whatever little melody that did escape the room to reach the uninvited audience's ears. Groans and grimaces echoed in crave to hear the new band present on the makeshift stage.

Visuals, head on. Them standing idle with instruments was enough to seize everyone's attention. "DZee, check the drums."

"Sounds nice."

Taehyung looked around, "That's . . . great, Jim?"

"I'm set too." Finishing up with another round of approval Taehyung smiled to himself. Strapping his guitar, he was ready to take a lead count when his fingers accidentally struck the strings emitting an awfully loud, unpleasant sound.

"Eek, my bad-"

"Of course it was." As if on cue, all the three heads turned towards the door opening. Rosa. "Tch tch, Tae bear. Back to school, got some hunks buzzing behind you, formed a band too, yet — Tae bear all these things attractive and fancy to hear won't make you any popular than you were before. Ya hear me?"

"Y'know people say, all that glitters is not gold and just a reminder Tae bear, you'll never be a golden boy in this school. Not when we are around." Rosa seethed, with back up chuckles and constant accordance. "You need talent for that which I don't see anywhere near you."

A chuckle emerged from behind Taehyung. "Babe, then maybe you really need a check up. Should I fix you one? I trust my doctor with my life." Jimin stood up like a wall making all the newly arrived bunch of girls (and a guy) gasp.

"Don't babe me."

"Oh right . . . what was your name again— yeah, bitch. Just take a seat and maybe as people say, just enjoy the show?" A cocky smirk graced the boy's lips when Rosa sneered at him.

"Really now, Tae bear you need a henchman speaking for you."

"Baby doll, plastics? At least choose someone worth arguing." Taehyung whispered placing a hand on his fellow band mate's back, wheeling his leg between the two hot-heads. "C'mon now."

"Stop murmuring! Say it on my face if you have the balls."

A trembling scare resembled the silence that stretched between Taehyung and Rosa as he granted her wish. Taking a step closer, Rosa tried to be as unphased as possible but an intimidating aura was engulfing her in its blue. "What do you want me to say? Bite you back? Too bad I'm not you, Rosa."

"I don't go around ruining people's image and you shouldn't do it either if I'm not willing, 'cause they . . . are watching you." He was right. Even if there was no teacher present in the room, the club members were still there and that ought to tear down the facade she had created.

"Don't want this pretty face to get any hate now do we? So how about you settle down and, like Jim said, just enjoy the show?"

Rosa pursed her lips before speaking, "Let's go girls."

Calm and composed, yet all said with a stoic coldness in his voice, definitely gave a rebellious touch to Taehyung's personality. With a quick glance over the girl's shoulder meeting the timid doe eyes, he scoffed, taking his position on the dias to give the first performance.

"How dare he talk to me like that?" Jungkook looked at Rosa through the corner of his eyes.

She has been going on and off about Taehyung and his foul mouth of a side kick. Honestly, Jungkook was just tired at this point. "Just because he is gaining a little attention, who does he think he is?"

"Damn it, quit yapping about him alright? It's no good. Does he get on your nerve that much, Rosa?"

Jungkook rolled his eyes when he saw Rosa stare at him with a void in her eyes. "Kookie . . . did you raise your voi— actually, you're right. He shouldn't be getting on my nerve. Rather he should be bothering you the most . . . he is, right?" Rosa pouted in empathy, making Jungkook question her mood swings.

"You're troubled right? That if he steals the spot you'll have no place and you'll be ostracized? Again."

"Don't worry sweetie, I'm here. I'm not letting that happen. You'll help me make it happen right?" The glint in her eyes and icy tone directed towards Jungkook was threatening. Scary, almost.

"Rosa! Don't go off saying things like that. Kookie is one of us." Sooyoung sided.

Taehyung returning. This, this unfriendly vibe he was getting off of him — Jungkook had a lot on his plate to deal with. On the other hand, Rosa pressurising him into thinking her way pulverized his thinking ability. Caving into his vulnerability, he muttered a yes.

"Good to know, Kookie. I know I can rely on you. You're a good friend." Rosa smiled while the other girls simply watched them with concern. "Here's the thing, I'm pretty sure Taehyung is taking on us 'cause he lost you, the only person who would have backed him. So we're gonna play his game. On him. Kookie you will befriend him again and ditch him. Again."

Jungkook listened to the white noise in disbelief. Oh how crooked her ways were! On top of that, laughing like a maniac. How cruel.

"Putting up a fake hot ass shit? Huh, tell him Kookie who's the boss in this campus." Rosa patted his shoulder and left along with Ara and Lia tailing behind.

Jungkook shuddered again feeling a soft touch on his shoulder. "Rosa isn't half as bad, Kookie." He couldn't help but hum. "Don't take her words to heart, you know how she is. Born with a silver spoon, she is used to all the attention and having her ways by hook or by crook. It's her nature."

"I know, Soo, it's just — uh, nevermind." Jungkook shook it off.

Sooyoung smiled. "You know . . . you should probably patch things up with Taehyung. I know you regret your decisions. Ara and Lia know it too. As for Rosa, it'll take time but she'll come around. You should rather follow your heart instead of yessing her every chance."

As he nodded, Sooyoung continued. "You must have felt so proud watching Taehyung play and be himself during his performance. He was pretty awesome. I saw how you smiled unconsciously."

"I didn't smile, but yeah he's good."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night."

The boy merely nodded walking around the school garden. Refreshing as it seemed, it did hold some special memories.

He remembered his notebook falling off the second floor, diving right into the concrete water tank full of weeds for experiments. How could he forget his best friend foolishly entering the water without having second thoughts just to get Jungkook's notebook for him.

It made him chuckle, even now.

"Soo, why don't you go ahead. I'll join you soon enough." Jungkook gestured politely before making his way to the garden. Flowers in its full bloom — something that always made his heart flutter with an unknown expectation. His thoughts filled with 'what if', 'maybe one day', 'once again.'

His heart skiped a beat and his eyes seemed to have been rusted, so did his feet. Jungkook only gaped. The figure drew near and nearer and stood in front of him.

"Take a picture, lasts longer."

Weird ending for now but yeah that's it. Meet y'all in the next chapter. Stay tuned <33
