Monica Neapolitana was outraged. That Swot-Girl nerd had shown her up. Again. And in front of her entire posse of admirers. Her naturally angelic face twisted into an ugly snarl, and she plotted revenge. The Preliminary shots were her chance. She could make sure that the Swot-Girl fell on her face in those. It would be easy. She'd probably be wearing a tonne of makeup, and her best dress. So some water treatment or ink would probably do the job. Monica smiled mirthlessly as she imagined Swot-Girl's fate.
Monica instructed her clique as to what they would do. It would have to be done carefully, because they didn't want to be too late and catch her after the preliminary shots, but they couldn't be too early, because that way she'd end up getting time to change and undo the damage. So Monica personally made her way to Polson Academy early that morning. A first for her. But she was fired up by her need for revenge, and it made her do things she'd never dream of doing by herself. She mixed in photographic ink, which she'd smuggled from her elder sister, with water. Then she allowed her minions to help her fill it into rubber balloons. This was going to be epic. Monica knew that photographic ink would cling to the powder bases in any makeup that Anna wore that day. It would soak through her dress and make it look like she'd played 'Holi' in the traditional Indian way. Monica was excited to insult Swot-Girl publicly, just as she had insulted Monica the previous day, and so many times before.
