Chapter 7

Nene was finally here, in front of the forest that is forbidden to go in. She knew she was risking her life in order to see Hanako again, but it didn't matter to her.

She wanted to fix this mess as soon as she can so everyone could just be happy again.

It took a while for Nene to actually find the correct location, but somehow she managed to find the place.

Nene doesn't even know if she's going to find her way back.

On her way, she asked random people along the way for the directions to this place. They said the directions. But in the end, they manage to end the sentence with the word cursed.

Cursed.

So, what if the cave was cursed? Was it dangerous to go?

But some said that it was a path way to go to the spirit world. Just like what Miyako had told her.

Nene bit her bottom lip, nervously, as she looked at her surroundings.

The forest did look a bit strange from the outside. It looked so creepy and haunted as if it really was cursed. And it was.

Nene finally let out a sigh.

There was no way she was turning back from this. She must see Hanako and save Aoi too! And....and......what?

Right....

What exactly was she going to do after she sees Hanako? What was she willing to do?

Nene already was feeling guilty for having Aoi's lifespan and yes the guilt she felt hurt like hell. She could just.....

I want to die.

I want to go to the other side.

I want to be with only him.

Nene shook her head, trying to get the violent thoughts out of her head. What was wrong with her? Nene sighed.

But it's true......

She wanted to be with him and only he was her true happiness.

But.

He would be so horrified if she actually died. He did say that he wanted her to live. And when he did say that, she did feel her heart skip a beat. She didn't know why she felt like that in the moment, but now she knows.

Oh....Hanako-kun.....you mean so much to me.....why did you leave me all alone....you silly idiot.....

Nene smiled, a small smile.

Nene looked around once more and entered the forest. She took her steps carefully, avoiding the slippery mud.

If she actually succeeds in finding Hanako, she would literally cry with happiness. Would he be happy if he saw her? Did he miss her too?

Nene had so much questions in her head.

She was so preoccupied by her thoughts that she didn't know where she was going. And when she was back in reality, she realised that she lost her way.

Nene lost her way in the forest, she was lost.

She didn't know where to go after that as every tree looked the same and whichever direction she looked at, it was just too confusing. Nene started to panic.
