Hanako looks at Nene's lifeless eyes with horror.
Nene had just barged into the library with blood all over her clothes. Hanako had caught her before she fell but she couldn't make it. She couldn't make it alive.
Nene died in his arms and Hanako could do nothing but watch the girl he loved slowly fade away from his world.
How did this even happen? This was never supposed to happen in the first place!
Hanako clenched onto her lifeless body and mourned for her.
He would never be able to see her beautiful smile, or her laugh, or her sadness, and even when she gets angry with him. It looked like she was going to say something very important to him but wasn't able to as death took over her.
"Yashiro..." Hanako whispered, still looking into her lifeless eyes, hoping to see her bright eyes again.
But he had to face the bitter truth.
Yashiro Nene was dead.
"How did this even happen!?" Kou said, choking back a sob. Kou looked worn out and his once cheerful smile was now replaced with sorrow.
"I don't know...." Hanako looked like he was going to break down any moment.
Akane lead Aoi out of the room to calm her down a bit. Aoi already started crying due to the loss of her best friend. Akane was also sad too. Teru silently followed the two but halted and looked at Hanako.
"This is how it is supposed to be." He said, coldly, before leaving the room.
When Teru's out of the room, tears slowly slip down Hanako's cheeks as he looks down. Kou tries speaking with Hanako but he couldn't hear a thing of what Kou was saying.
All he could think about was...
Yashiro.
Yashiro. Yashiro. Yashiro. Yashiro. Yashiro. Yashiro.
How he wished fate wasn't cruel like this at all. On him. On her.
After all, they were only children? Right?

It's been weeks since Nene's fateful death.
And things weren't the same till then. Hanako had tried searching for her in the far shore, in hopes of being able to see her again. But failed.
He has been gloomy ever since. He's even hid from the others for a while to avoid them. But Hanako slowly started coming out again.
Kou comes to check on him often because he was worried about him, and Hanako honestly didn't mind. Kou was a nice guy to worry about someone like him.
"You love her, right Hanako?" Kou asked him one day, before he was going to leave to go to his house.
Hanako was taken back in shock at the direct question that Kou had just asked him out of nowhere.
"Umm...is it that...obvious?" Hanako mumbled, as tilted his hat down to cover her face. He did not want Kou to see him in such a vulnerable state.
"Of course, it is you toilet jerk!" Kou exclaimed, as he took his bag ready to leave. He halted and turned to look at Hanako, his expression was sad, directed to his ghost friend.
"I'll see you tomorrow, ok?" Kou said, smiling sadly.
"Ok." Hanako smiled back, masking his sorrow.
After Kou left, he sat on his favorite spot in the bathroom and looked out the window. The sun was setting and it was going to get dark soon.
His thought drifted back to his lovely assistant. The only girl he would ever love.
Yashiro...oh please... Nene if you can, will you come back to me?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tsuchigomori hasn't ever seen his former student this much sad before. And that to because of a girl.
He couldn't help but feel sorry for him.
Tsuchigomori knew that No.7 had developed romantic feeling for his assistant. And he couldn't help but think why fate was cruel on these two kids.
He sighed as he corrected the students test papers. Yako was on the shelfs peacefully asleep and he was a teacher so he had to do the paper work.
Tsuchigomori then frowned. But how exactly did the lifespan come back to Akane-san? It was also impossible for the severance to get completely reversed.
Even No.6 didn't know how that happened.
Something terrible must have happened in between to cause this. Yes, Tsuchigomori knew this was how things were supposed to be, even Teru had said so, but there has to be something that happened to cause this.
No.7's assistant came in literally coughing out blood which was unnatural. It was unnatural because it was oddly strange...as if...
No.5 quickly opened the front drawer and took out the black book with No.7's assistants name on it.
Yashiro Nene.
His eyebrows furrowed looking at the book. It was unnatural for the severance to be reversed as it was impossible.
Could it be that this girl did something? Did she do something to make this happened?
But a human like her can't do something big as this!
There was only one way to find out. Tsuchigomori opened the book and flipped it to the last page, the day when the supernatural's were back at the near shore.
Only the sound of the wind could be heard.
His eyes widened as he took in on what he was reading. And soon was left with shock as the book slipped from his hands with a loud thump. Luckily the book only landed on his own desk.
Yashiro Nene had literally asked Honourable No.7's twin brother for help. She made a wish. Her wish came true. And now they were all here. But the price? She still hasn't got the price for her wish. Tsuchigomori stood up as fast as he could.
He had to inform this to their leader immediately. This was serious information.
Because a deal with Tsukasa was never supposed to be a good thing.
