Chapter 12

Nene followed Tsuchigomori into the office. He sat down in his place and Nene sat on one of the couches. She noticed Yako sitting on the shelfs as usual. She looked shocked when she saw her.

"How is this brat here?!" She said, blinking at the spider apparition.

"Don't know." He murmured, as he blew out some smoke. He turned to Nene who jolted when he spoke again.

"There must be a reason you're here now, right?" He asked, raising his eyebrow as she looked back at him confused.

"Yeah..."

Nene frowned.

It was true she was back but... she didn't have a reason though...

The angel just let her go since she was bound with Hanako. So why exactly was she here? She didn't know. Maybe because she wanted to stay with Hanako? Like forever? It wouldn't be bad.

But really. She didn't know the reason.

Tsuchigomori sighed as he observed her. "Rest for a while, Yashiro-san. You'll see him in the morning." He said, then looked down at his paper work.

She nodded.

But couldn't find herself to sleep at all. Because she swore, she saw one of Tsukasa's orbs at the corner of the room, monitoring her every move. That's when dread filled her mind.

He was going to collect his payment for her wish. But what was the price to pay? What was he going to do with her? She didn't want to know.

And when she looks at that direction again there is no orb on sight.

The 5th wonder looks at her a bit concerned.

"Are you ok? You look pale there..."

She giggles nervously in return. "I'm fine..."

Nene only hopes that morning will come soon.

Hanako and Kou immediately come next morning when Tsuchigomori informs the news. And the two were speechless when they see her there in her ghostly form.

"Yashiro...?"

"Senpai..."

Nene smiles in return, a sad one. "Hi, guys." She says, waving at them, nervously.

Hanako's immediately onto her, clinger than ever. And that honestly surprises her only a bit. Kou is standing there still in shock.

"Why would you do that?! I wanted you to live..." Hanako exclaimed, as he cupped her cheeks. He was glad to be able to touch her again. He couldn't believe this was real.

"I'm sorry... I just didn't want my wish granted like that..." She whimpered, as he leaned his forehead against her own.

"Sssh. Don't cry...please..." He whispered into her ears, as he whipped away her fragile tears.

Kou came put out of his shock and ran to them. "Senpai!" He said, tearily.

The three of them had a happy reunion and Tsuchigomori watched them. Happy for his former student but was still puzzled over how the girl was able to come back because it wasn't that simple.

The moment didn't last for long when Kou noticed black smoke starting to form at the corner of the room. His stands changed as he pointed his staff in the direction. Tsuchigomori was stunned, cause he honesty hasn't met No.7's twin personally.

Hanako pulled Nene behind him and took his knife, guarded with caution.

A familiar boys laughter echoed in the room. He landed on his feet snickering at the sight in front of him. They all looked so guarded when they saw him. He turned his sight to Nene and she stiffened. Hanako and Kou noticed the interaction.

"Nene-chan ~" Tsukasa beamed, as she kept looking at him. "I didn't know you'd be lingering in the near shore! I wonder why...?" He giggled.

Kou scoffed. "I'm sure you did something! What did you do?!" He growled, pointing the staff at him in a threatening way. But Tsukasa didn't seem to be scared at all.

"I didn't do anything!" Tsukasa said, smiling eerily.

"Tsukasa. Leave her alone." Hanako said, guarded, he was a bit nervous too.

"Amane! ~ I came here to collect the price! ~" He whined, it looked childish. His eyes turned black before he flickered his fingers. Instantly, his Kokujoudai teleported Nene who was standing behind the boys into Tsukasa's arms.

Hanako was panicking. He didn't like how this was going. What was his brother doing?!

"Yashiro!? Tsukasa let her go!" He was sweating in fear. Kou looked worried too. He didn't want his Senpai to end up like Mitsuba if that's what was going to happen right now.

"Yeah, yeah. Don't worry Amane. I really haven't come up with the price yet but I just wanted to show you something!" Tsukasa smirked, as he caressed her head, she whimpered at the contact. She was scared.

Hanako's blood was boiling in rage now. How dare he touches her!!? Even Kou was disturbed by the younger twin's actions.

Tsukasa looked at his expression in glee. He's never seen that expression on his elder brothers face before.

Tsuchigomori and Yako were frozen in place as they witnessed the scene taking place in front of them.

"Amane..." He said, wickedly as he turned her back towards them. "The reason Nene-chan's here is probably because..." He parted her long hair.

And No.2 and No.5 looked shocked at what they saw. Kou looked stunned too. And Hanako's breath hitched at what he was seeing.

A black seal at the back of her neck.

And it wasn't any ordinary seal. It was an Yorishiro's seal.

Nene couldn't believe what she was hearing. So, this was the reason she was able to come back, she would have had no other choice too. She traced her fingers against the seal as she stared at Tsukasa.

Tsukasa smirked and pushed her back and Hanako caught her in his arms. He hugged her impossibly close as he kept looking at his twin, fearfully.

"...she's too important to you and you couldn't let her go."
