It's Complicated

Chapter 2

Carina's pov 

location - new york 

"Uggh, i wanted to be done with this piece today" i grumbled while working on a design that i started a week ago, but today after 10 cups of coffee and not sure how many cigarettes (damn addiction) i am unable to complete the design. 

Lately I have been losing inspiration to do anything. It's been a year since my company has not released any new design of clothes and we haven't participated in any recent fashion shows. Company's figures are going down and all this had been stressing me out greatly. I don't know if it is just a creative block or the passion that I had for my work is just fading. All other designers that works for the company are doing everything to cover up for me but people are noticing and this is affecting the business. 

And as if this was not much, all this stress and failure has been affecting my marriage to the extent. Yeah I have a beautiful and superbly intelligent wife Arizona who I married a few years ago. We were happy together and living in the bubble of romance initially but lately all we do is fight or spend our days avoiding each other.

Arizona and I met during our college and we became friends instantly. She was doing her majors in business and I was completing my degree in fashion. We started as friends but our relationship became sexual till the end of our college. All this never affected our friendship and we used to spent most of our times together. 

I wanted to start my own women's clothing line which focused on every women, of any body type or shape or size out there as being women I understood the struggle of finding the perfect style for our own body type but for that I needed financial support. That's when I asked my father to invest in my idea and support me. He always wanted me to join the family business of clothing which was similar to mine but my ideas were different and I wanted to do something of my own. Although he was reluctant but eventually he invested in my company. In the starting everything was flowing smoothly as it was small clothing line with limited customers. But as business started growing I started having trouble in managing the financials and other sectors of the company, as my sole focus was always on designing. 

Meanwhile Arizona completed her MBA degree and we started sharing an apartment. With time we came close to each other and became inseparable. Arizona was doing great in her career and that's when she offered to help me in my company and I trusted her with my heart. She gave all her time in managing my company which gave me enough time to create some great clothing designs. Everything was going great for both of us.

4 yrs back 

"Oh my god carina, I can't take it anymore babe. This was my fourth orgasm and i really don't have energy for one more" arizona said breathing heavily while lying tangled in bed with carina. "Okay, okay we'll stop but you have to promise to take me for lunch to my favourite Italian restaurant tomorrow" said carina while covering their naked bodies with sheet.

"So I have to bribe you with Italian food for giving me orgasms" Arizona laughed while cuddling deeper into carina. "It's only fair, I give you mind blowing sex and you treat me with delicious Italian food afterall I have to keep up my energy" carina smirked. After this both went for sleep until next morning or I should say afternoon. They were today celebrating their success as their company was awarded for best women clothing brand.
