Liana and Chloe are at Lois's having a girl's night. Chloe's in the shower and Lois is making tea. Then the power goes out and Liana and Lois hear Chloe scream and they run to Chloe. Liana opens the bathroom door and has a flashlight in her hand and says, "Chloe?" Liana flashes the light to Chloe, and she says, "Help me." Liana and Lois look at Chloe's wrist to see that she cut them open. Liana and Lois take Chloe to the hospital. Clark comes into the hospital and says, "Liana. Lois. Where's Chloe? Is she alright?" Dr. Sydell says, "Well, that's what we were just trying to determine. And-and you are?" Clark says, "Clark Kent." Dr. Sydell says, "How do you do? I'm Dr. Sydell." Liana says, "He's Chloe's psychiatrist. Clark, me and Lois found her on the bathroom floor. She cut her wrists." Clark says, "What?" Lois says, "I feel so guilty. I should have seen it coming. She-she hasn't been getting much sleep between, you know, school and her job at the Planet." Dr. Sydell says, "Is there any, uh, history of mental illness?" Lois says, "No. I'm here cousin. I would know if there were bats in the belfry." Dr. Sydell says, "Fine. Well, that'll give us something to start with. Orderly. Would you take Miss Sullivan from the ER to room 258, please? Make sure she's comfortable." The orderly says, "Yeah, yes, sir." Clark says, "Doctor, I don't understand, why would Chloe do this to herself?" Dr. Sydell says, "It's a combination of a number of factors. Family history, stress, loss of a loved one. Sometimes, a person has a secret they feel they can't share. But whatever it is, I'll uncover it and I will treat it aggressively." Later, Lana goes to the hospital to see Chloe. Lana grabs Chloe's shoulder and Chloe gasps and turns to see Lana. Chloe says, "Lana." Lana says, "Chloe, I got here as fast as I could. Is everything okay?" Chloe says, "Where is she?" Lana says, "Who?" Chloe says, "The girl. She was just here. My God, there's so much blood." Lana looks on the ground and doesn't see any blood and says, "Chloe? Hey, we should get you back to bed, alright?" Chloe says, "No, I have to find her. I just saw her." Lana watches Chloe leave the room and bump into her doctor. Chloe says, "Doctor, there was this girl who was just in my room, and she really needs your help." Dr. Sydell says, "Orderly." Chloe says, "I'm relaxed just listen to me. There's blood all over the floor from her, don't you see? It's going overly down the hall. It was from my bathroom. She was in my bathroom." Dr. Sydell says, "Please, relax." Chloe says, "You're not listening to me. There is blood! No! Lana! Make them listen! Lana! Please, Lana!" Lana's really worried about Chloe. Later, Lana goes to see Lex. Lex says, "Lana. What's wrong?" Lana walks towards Lex and says, "Chloe, she's in the hospital. She... she tried to kill herself." Lex says, "Is she alright?" Lana says, "I don't-I don't know. I tried talking to her, but she wasn't making any sense. They sedated her." Lex says, "Who's her doctor?" Lana says, "Some, uh, psychiatrist at the med center. That's actually why I came to see you. When you were in Belle Reve the doctors helped you when you were having problems, right?" Lex says, "I'll make the call. She'll have the best doctors this side of Vienna helping within the hour." Lana softly smiles and says, "Lex, thank you. I didn't know who else to go to."
