A New Beginning

Chapter 15

Ava

I woke up about 4 and heard giggling coming from the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen and see Cole and Lilly making dinner. I walked over to the counter and sat down on a stool and just watched to two of them interact which made my heart whole. I love watching them together.

"So, what's for dinner and what's so funny?"

Lilly "mommy, feeling better?"

"Yes, so what's for dinner?"

Cole "well, miss Lilly hear wanted to have spaghetti and meats balls for dinner and then for dessert we are going to make brownies while miss mommy will sit down and relax right Lilly?"

"Wow, I guess you'll have alot of things to do, so where do you want me?"

Lilly comes around the counter grabs my hand and walks me back into the tv room and pats the seat then says "mommy, you stay here we do everthang an bring you dinner rit Cole?"

Cole "right miss Lilly then after we finish dessert we have a present for you dear what do you think about that?"

"How would you feel bout moving in with Lilly and I?"

Cole falls to his knees by the couch and hugs me to him then he whispers in my ear "I would love nothing more than to live with you two beautiful lady's that are mine. Just know that this is a big step for us."

"I do and I think you should also know that our other step may happen tonight too if you want it to?"

Cole "O, I want it to happen more then I want my next breathe baby but I can wait patiently for miss Lilly to go to sleep because her moma is gonna be all mine." He grawls out.

"yeah, well I think your helper in the kitchen would love to hear that your moving in."

Cole "would you be ok, If I went home and packed some things to bring over and let me parents knows?" 

"That's fine just so you know I have a dresser in my room for only your clothes."

Cole gives me a deep slow steady kiss that knocks the air out of my lungs. He left to join Lilly in the kitchen and the next thing I hear is Lilly scream and then her feet like she is runnung. Then I see her happy little face light up as she is running over to me and throws her arms around my neck and hugs me so tightly. Then rushes back into the kitchen to help with dinner and dessert. I'm so glad I made Lilly happy by letting Cole move in here.

I turn on the tv and flick through to decide what I plan on watching. I also decides to call my mom.

Ring Ring Ring

mom: Hello

Ava: Hi mom, how are you?

mom: I'm good how are you feeling Cole said you weren't feeling well earlier?

Ava: I'm better now thanks for asking. I was calling to let you know that I invited Cole to move in with Lilly and I.

mom: What did he say?

Ava: he said he would love nothing more than to live with us two lady's that are his. Right now cole and Lilly are making dinner and then they will make dessert after. cole asked if it was ok to bring some of his things over after dinner and I told him that it was fine. He went back into the kitchen and told miss Lilly that good news and mom she is just so happy with him I mean her face was lite up when I saw her. I'm glad they get along.

mom: Well honey, I'm glad you got your self a good man there and I can tell he really loves you and Lilly. That makes me happy baby because the two of you need some happiness in your life that no one can give you but him. This is also another big step in y'all's relationship. How do y'all feel about that?

Ava: we feel pretty good to be honest and tonight after Lilly goes to sleep we are gonna take another step in our relationship.

Mom: well that's good baby I'm happy for you. Well I'm making dinner for Kevin and I so I should let you go for now. I love you and Lilly.

Ava: we love you too mom.

Then I hung up the phone.

Few hours later

"Lilly baby you and Cole did a wonderful job on dinner and brownies."

Lilly "thanks mommy".
