Fairies (Sayaka and Mukuro, Danganronpa)

   Pairing: Maizono Sayaka x Ikusaba Mukuro

   "Fucking leave." 

   Those two words stop Maizono dead in her tracks. Her entire body tenses as she waits for the owner of the voice to reveal herself.

   It's the strangest thing too. She had just wanted to go for a nice day-long walk through the forest to just get away from everything for a couple of hours. It really seemed like a good idea at the time, but now some crazy person is talking to her like they own the forest.

   "I know you're one of them here to steal our magic. I assure you that won't happen. Now turn around and walk away."

   "Wh-Magic? What? Where even are you?"

   Maizono turns around a couple of times, not seeing anyone.

   "Up here, fuckass."

   Maziono's head jerks up, noticing something faintly glowing from the branches of a particularly tall tree. Upon further inspection, it appears to be a small woman, about seven or eight inches tall. On her back are two misty-looking things that look a lot like wings.

   Maizono takes a startled step back. "A fairy?! I-I thought they were-you guys were just myths."

   The fairy glares down at her. "Don't play dumb with me. For the past couple of months, a bunch of you have been coming around and trying to capture us for whatever the fuck. I've never met a good human."

   Sayaka's eyes widen. "What? That's awful."

   "Oh, is it?"

   The fairy takes flight and soars down so that she's hovering just out of Maizono's reach. "What the hell? Stop faking."

   "I seriously don't know anything about that, but that's horrible. Look me up even if you need to, my name is Maizono Sayaka." The blue-haired human insists.

   The fairy keeps glaring down at her.

   "Um. . .what's your name?"

   ". . .Ikusaba."

   "Nice to meet you then, Ikusaba-san!" Maizono's eyes harden, "Now, what can I do to help you guys?"

   Ikusaba frowns. "What the hell are you talking about?! I can't even trust you, though!"

   "You don't have to trust me; I just don't support anyone living in fear like this!"

   Ikusaba is silent for a moment. And then suddenly, there is a great flash of white and the next second, the fairy is standing in front of her in human form. 

   ". . .Fine. You want to help?"

   Maizono nods eagerly. "I want to know everything so that I can do my best. I'll do anything to prove it can be trusted." She promises.

   Ikusaba reaches out and touches the human's shoulder. "So strange you are, to be determined to help someone you've only just been aware existed, not even questioning if they're lying to you. I believe in your kindness and will let you help us."

   Maizono beams. "I won't let you guys down!" She promises brightly, "What can I do to start?" 

   Ikusaba gives her a serious look.

   "For now, all we need is someone understanding to listen to us."

   The blue-haired girl nods. 

   "I can be that person. I can be anything you need."

   "Alright," The fairly nods back at her, sitting on the ground and patting the ground next to her, "Have a seat."
