Pairing: Alice Cullen x Bella Swan
"You're clearly hungry, Alice. I promise I'll be okay for an hour or so if you want to go hunting." Bella promises, looking into the vampire's coal-black eyes.
Alice looks conflicted, glancing between the human with the flu and the window.
"People don't die as often from the flu anymore. And I'm pretty healthy in general," Bella's eyes soften, "I'd hate to think you were suffering for my sake."
"But what if it gets worst? What if you need something and you can't get-"
"Alice. I'll be fine for an hour. I'll-" Bella cuts herself off with a cough, "I'll probably just take a nap, honestly."
She groans, sinking back into the pillows. "Seriously, I've got water, I've got Romeo and Juliet the movie, I've got my cozy bed, I'll be fine. I promise. . .You look so thirsty, okay?"
Alice huffs, moving a little closer. "What if you need someone to lower your body temperature?"
"I'll kick off the blankets or something; I'll be fine. But I'd rest more easily if I knew you were feeding yourself."
"Ugh, fine. For like one hour. And if you need anything, you call me, okay? I'm leaving my cell phone on."
"Deal." Bella sighs.
Alice darts over and kisses her forehead before going over to the window and pushing it open. "I'll see you really soon. Love you."
"See you."
