"Your hair is so pretty," Jane murmurs, looking at the girl lying down beside her on the bed, "It's so long and pretty and soft."
August sighs, shutting her eyes as the black-haired girl runs her fingers through her hair. Once Jane's done, she lays her head down right next to her girlfriend, shifting her body to face her and hitching her leg over August.
August yawns, snuggling into her. "I'm so glad we've got a day off from work and shit."
Jane sniffs. "Shame. I like it when you come home smelling of pancakes. And then I get to hop in the shower with you, and that's always fun for me."
The other girl's eyes narrow. "You seriously need to get a job."
"Meh. I'll get one when I get one, okay?"
"You should be a subway driver."
Jane shudders. "Don't even joke about that, man. I'm never going on the fucking subway ever again. Besides, I don't want to get stuck again accidentally or anything, right? Whatever will I do without your electrified kisses?"
August grins. "Don't be silly; I'd just come to save you again."
"But what if I forgot you?"
"Then I'd make you fall in love with me all over again, of course. As many times as it takes."
Jane strains her neck, kissing her quickly. "Wouldn't be too hard, I'd think."
"I agree," The brown-haired girl yawns, "Can we take a nap now?"
The other frowns. "But I'm not done kissing you yet!"
"You can kiss me all you want later; I'm tired. Okay?"
"Yeah, mmkay. 'Night."
"'Night."
