After everyone was briefed about Jisung's status, the base turned into chaos (well, more than usual). Most of the younger members were distraught but were determined to get him back. The usual screams demanding some piece of paper intensified until finally, after four days, they were ready.
They knew everything from the right time to infiltrate (5.12pm) to the room where he could be (seventh floor, east wing, either the fourth or fifth room since he has been moved a few times). The plan was perfect, nothing could go wrong.
~~
It all started at 4.15pm, when Winwin, Xiaojun and Hendery were about to go to three separate buildings opposite the government one to set their sniper rifles for anyone that tried to flee.
"Winwin, did you bring the bullets? I left mine at home." Hendery smiled sheepishly.
The older sighed and handed him enough for the mission. "Be glad that I'm always prepared. I knew someone would forget theirs, I'm just relieved that you remembered your rifles."
They were about to part ways when Xiaojun sighed. "I forgot my earpiece."
"Go to the van, they'll have one."
~~
"OK, remember the plan and bring Jisung back." The leader said into the earpieces.
The other two leaders, Taeil, Jaehyun and Yangyang were situated in the main van and a second van containing Johnny, Doyoung, Lucas, Haechan, Shotaro, Sungchan and Chenle were parked two blocks away. Meanwhile, Jeno, Jaemin and Ten were in the computer room directing the others and Jungwoo, Yuta and Renjun were prepared for casualties in the infirmary (even though they were in the computer room too since no-one needed them right now).
"Hyung, 'run and gun' does not count as a plan," Lucas said as he loaded his gun.
"Just don't die and follow our orders, I don't know why there needs to be such a complicated plan since that's the basis of all plans," Mark responded.
"Sky team, are you good to go?" Kun asked.
"Affirmative."
"OK, we have a short walk to go. Home team, please disable the lock system in 2 minutes, we are beginning our journey."
The second van opened and out walked the 7 men with the main van opening to reveal Taeyong stepping out only. Whilst it may seem like they lacked the manpower, even four of them would have been enough despite the numerous guards surrounding the place. After all, most of the government testers weren't that strong and would hide at any disturbance or threat, according to Mark.
Once they reached the gate, they opened it with ease, slightly creaking but it was enough to alert the sky team to shoot the guards. This left no opposition to face, and they easily made their way into the elevator on the east wing.
"It's usually retina scanned to accessed, but we managed to disable that too. You should be able to use it as a normal elevator." Ten said, which they did. Shotaro pressed the seventh floor, and it slowly made its way up.
"God, this is so slow!" Chenle whined.
"Er, someone's overriding our access from the top floor," Jeno warned them, "Sky team, please shoot the north-facing windows, from about the third across to the eighth."
