There's No World Without You

Sunshine, raindrops, goodness and light,

It takes not a cynic to know this is not life,

For all of the people, do gather and grow,

Like the fickle flowers of the meadow.

Sometimes bright, and cheery like the stars,

Other times invasive weeds, ugly scars.

But always and constant, what never will never change,

Engraved on my heart, is your name.

There is no world, without you in it,

There is no palace, where is it not on the throne you sit.

Your kindness, your empathy, places you above all,

And yet, you do not condescend, you do not make us feel small.

Stay here, with us, don't leave,

The world will go dark, when you cease to breathe.
