Falling

The ocean waves wash over me,

I'm drowning in the deep.

I'm falling down the rabbit hole,

There's no one to save me.

I wasn't meant to last,

But to be just a spark,

One that burns bright and fast,

One that lights up the dark.

And when I'm gone,

I hope you know,

From dusk 'till dawn,

I'll miss you so.

I'm falling down,

A rabbit hole,

Who will save me,

When no one knows?
