Friday y/n's POV

Entering a big mansion with tons of people dancing and enjoying, i entered with my best friend who seemed surprised

Nao: damn i didn't knew Vernon's parents are this filthy rich
Y/n: nor me

We saw Joshua and approached him

Nao: hey shua
Shua: hey nao, damn you look sexy
Nao: thank you thank you, you too look handsome

I just stayed silent, I was a bit uncomfortable wearing a one piece, i didn't reveal anything much but still it was tight since nao forced me to wear her dress as I had no party wear. Vernon who was busy talking with others approached us

Nao: look who is here, you literally are talking with everyone except your own group
Vernon: sorry sorry, everyone just kept approaching me saying they didn't knew I was rich
Nao and y/n: ehh
Vernon: what? Don't tell me you wanted to tell me this too
Nao: whatever whatever but why did you keep such a big party though
Vernon: it's a secret
Lin: hey Vernon, don't you have beer, wine or such? Only sprite and cola? What a party broooo
Vernon: we are 18- dear, don't wanna go to jail

Vernon: hungry?
Nao: nope, we will meet some friends first

We spent 2-3 hours talking with some of our school mates, we even saw Kate and TaeJoon enter the party, they were having fun but joshua didn't seem to do anything

Shua: yk 2 minus 1 song right??
Y/n: ofcourse that's my favourite song, i listen to it everyday
Shua: great!

Joshua motioned vernon a thumbs up and vernon smirked. What's wrong with him? He took a mic and then started talking

Vernon: okayyy everyone, let's have some funnnn. Now I'll call our most lovely couple to sing a song for us. Joshua and Y/n!!!!!!
Y/n: what the-
Shua: you sing jisoo's part and I'll sing hansol's
Y/n: but
Shua: it's going to be fun

( I switched the roles, joshua will sing Vernon's part and y/n will sing Joshua's part since Joshua's part will suit a girl rather than Vernon)

We both started singing, it was awkward at first but then we started enjoying it, jumping here and there, dancing like crazy while singing. Whole crowd was enjoying it along with us. When Joshua sang the last line, 'i need you' i noticed kait tearing up, joshua too noticed but we ignored it. The song was finally over and everyone cheered

Shua: to my lovely girlfriend, thank you so much for being here with me, you are always there for me in my good and bad times. Thank you so much for everything, I love you a lot and yes, ofcourse I have to thank my ex, Kait for leaving me so I could meet this wonderful woman right here

He leaned forward and kissed me gently in front of everyone. It felt so real, i completely forgot that we are not together. After we parted, we came down and went back to nao and Vernon, nao seemed sad and mad

Nao: you shouldn't say this much when you didn't even mean-

We saw Kait crying and TaeJoon taking her somewhere

Shua: I'm sorry nao, I'll have to go somewhere. Y/n, come with me
