A week later we were attending the Christmas family party that was being hosted at Alcina's house. Her invitation was very clear on formal attire, Heisenberg however has informed me of his plans to annoy 'the tall bitch'.

I have made the decision that today I would make the life changing decision to tell Alcina exactly how I feel. I am getting so antsy sitting here, not knowing for months what she is going to say. I am going into overdrive. I am going crazy.

I was called into Donna's room to help her with the back of her dress, I could see Donna was trying to make an effort whilst making sure she stays comfortable and I'm very happy that she's feeling more confident with our new fucked up family. Donna is wearing the same black dress she always wears but she has sewn some tinsel around the collar, the hem and the bottoms of her sleeves on the dress, and she's made the decision to not wear her regular headdress, which I'm very proud of her for.

After helping Donna I returned to my room where I changed into my black shiny dress, it had spaghetti straps, a V-neck, it nearly touched the floor and it had a slit up the right side reaching about mid-thigh. I paired it with some red stilettos and added a bit of tinsel around the bobble that was keeping my air in a high pony fishtail plait. My makeup consisted of a smoky eye, courtesy of Donna, and some red lipstick.

Me, Donna and Angie, who had even made an effort and was wearing a Christmas jumper over her regular white dress, got into the carriage and made our way over to Castle Dimitrescu.

I brought my hand up and knocked on the enormous oak doors that were the entrance to Alcina's home. Not a second later Mother Miranda was standing in the entranceway greeting us, she was wearing a magnificent dark blue gown and her regular golden bird mask,

"Donna, my child, look at you so beautiful," Mother Miranda complimented whilst hugging Donna, I could feel the pride radiating off of Mother Miranda and the confidence coming from Donna, "And Marlene, dear, look at how elegant you look,"

"What about me?!" Angie screeched causing Mother Miranda to release me from her bear hug,

"And look at you in your jumper. It truly does bring out your eyes Angie," Mother Miranda complimented Angie, "Come on through Heisenberg isn't here yet,"

"He's late as always," a familiar voice boomed. Alcina rounded the corner, wearing an off the shoulder, tight, mid-thigh length red dress with white fur on the shoulder and hem, paired with white heels, her regular red lipstick and her hair in tight black curls, ditching her everyday hat,

"Alcina, be nice, it's Christmas a time for family. Whether you like them or not," Donna greeted Alcina,

"Lovely to see you, Donna," Alcina said lifting Donna into a hug, "And I know, but I just hate that man thing,"

"Oh you know deep down you love him," Mother Miranda smiled, walking off to the living room,

"I don't," Alcina mumbled, pulling a pouty face and crossing her arms like a toddler,

"Oh you're adorable," I cooed,

"I know," Alcina smiled, "Merry Christmas Marl,"

"Merry Christmas Cina," I smiled, pulling her in for a hug, I was beyond happy we were on cute nickname basis with each other,

"I have got to admit it feels weird hugging someone the same size as me now,"

"Yeah, I've gotten so used to having to bend down to hug people," I giggled. At that moment it felt like it was only me and Alcina, there wasn't anybody there, no Christmas party, no family not even earth itself, I'd never noticed how easy it is to become lost in her golden orbs,
