Medical Observation - observed by Marlene Beneviento

Mother Miranda has come to both me and Alcina to assist her with her new experiment. She has brought three girls with her. The eldest with blond hair, to her right a girl with brown hair and to her left the youngest with red hair. All three girls were caught in a lycan trap. The eldest has suffered a large gash on her left leg. The brown-haired one has a few cuts and scrapes all over her body. And the youngest has suffered a bad head injury, resulting in the left side of her scalp being torn off.

Day 1

24 hours after being implanted with chunks of both mine and Alcina's cadou, in hopes of them inheriting our regenerative abilities, all three girls have stopped moving, they almost seem dead. Thankfully, each girl's heartbeats are normal. Their bodies haven't gone into immediate shock. A good sign. Will have to keep a close watch on them.

Only a few hours later, an insect flew out of the eldest's mouth. It appears to be a common fly. Neither me, Alcina nor Mother Miranda knows what this could mean. Will have to keep a closer watch on them.

Day 2

More and more flies have appeared since yesterday. All three bodies are now covered in flies. It appears the flies are consuming their flesh. A good sign? Will have to closely monitor the situation. Other than that, the girls seemed to have taken well to the cadou implantation, they have still had regular heartbeats and have not gone into distress.

When Alcina opened a window some of the flies dropped dead onto the floor. The girls' heartbeats sped up, it would seem the cold petrifies them. The window was quickly closed to avoid weakening the insects further.

Day 4

The three girls have almost been completely consumed by the insects. All that is left is a dark, writhing human-shaped mass of creatures. Their heartbeats have faded to almost nothing. The only sign of their life fading by the second.

It is just after noon and the insects have started to change colour. Those around the face turned pale and those around the lips turned a deep crimson. It seems they are mimicking a face. Interesting.

Day 5

All three heartbeats have stopped. Their hearts are beating once every 15 minutes. The one heartbeat is very strong.

Day 6

The mass of insects has transformed into human bodies again. Their transformed states look more like monsters than the teenage girls they once were. Their injuries have been completely healed. Not cut, and no scar, on the eldest's leg. All cuts and scrapes healed from the middle. And no head wound on the youngest, although she appears to have a shaved head on the left side of her scalp.

All three girls awoke, looking up at us like newborns. Their eyes appear bright gold, like Alcina's. I wonder if her cadou has passed on any more of her traits to them.

I feel a connection to them. A protective bond. Much like a mother would to her children. Alcina to senses a bond like Mother and daughters. Is it because our cadou is implanted in them?

Mother Miranda finds them of no use to her.

Alcina and I have decided upon their names: Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela.

(A/N: This is really more of a filler chapter, that is why it is so short. I just couldn't wait to bring the girls into the story.)
