Alcina and I are currently lying on our back on top of the castle roof. We had both drank a bottle of wine before and are now sharing one between us as we look at the stars,

"If you could," Alcina started, "Would you agree to have the cadou implanted again?"

"I only agreed for Donna, so if she said yes again then yeah I would. Would you?" I turned my head to look at her face,

"Now that I have you, yeah I would. If you asked me a year ago I would've said no way," Alcina turned to me and linked our fingers, "I am glad I have you though, I don't know what I would do with myself if you weren't here,"

"Well you don't have to worry about that. As long as you want me here, I'm here," I smiled, squeezing her hand,

"You know I feel the same way right, I wouldn't dare dream of being without you," Alcina smiled back,

"I know," I moved my face forward, and our lips were once again captured the most loving kiss that ever was, "I think I'm in love with you," I whispered against Alcina's lips,

"That's weird," not the reaction I was hoping for, "Because I know I'm in love with you," she chuckled,

"You can't do that to me," I laughed, "I nearly had a heart attack."

The only response I got was a hearty laugh as Alcina looked back up at the sky. Just as I returned by gaze to the stars, many shouts of,

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Was heard coming from the direction of the village,

"Happy new year," Alcina whispered to me,

"Happy new year," we moved our heads closer together to capture the others lips in a short, but sweet, kiss.

I turned my head as I heard a shrill shriek to my right, I looked over to see a strange creature with wings. I've seen these flying over the castle but I have not seen one before me yet. It was a hooded person with a trunk peeking out of it's hood and massive wings. Not the prettiest of creatures but far better than the lycans,

"Go on, shoo," Alcina scared of the creature by waving her hands at it, "I'm glad they protect the castle but they aren't a joy to look at,"

"Just what I was thinking," I chuckled as we walked over to the elevator.

Once we were inside, another bottle of wine was opened and a slow song was played on the record player. We both stalked toward each other from opposite ends of the room, and wrapped our arms around each other as we swayed from side to side,

"I am so happy I have you here with me," Alcina whispered in my ear, "I can't put into words this feeling I get when I'm around you, it's just such a content feeling, something I wouldn't mind feeling for the rest of my life,"

"I couldn't have worded that better myself. You just, make me feel things that I've only ever read about in books. The things you make me feel are feeling I thought I'd never get to experience. I would do absolutely anything for you," I whispered back,

"I couldn't have worded it better myself." After our words we danced for hours, just forgetting about everything else and just enjoying the feeling of being in each other's arms. It's a different feeling knowing you can be vulnerable around someone, and it's an even better feeling knowing that that someone is comfortable being vulnerable around you to. I don't have to hide when I'm around Alcina, when I'm in her arms I have nothing to be afraid of.

"When the record stopped we knew it was time for us to head to bed,

"Why don't you stay the night in my room," Alcina asked me, in the middle of a yawn. 

Whenever I've stayed at the castle, I've always stayed in one of the spare rooms on the second floor but tonight I didn't even have to think about my response,

"Yeah, sure," I agreed quickly, to quickly. Alcina let out a laugh,

"Come on then."

We both got changed  in the same room, our backs turned, but I was still super giddy about it. For my stays in the castle, Alcina has saved me the long green nightdress from my first stay and even though I normally sleep in just my underwear and a t-shirt, the nightdress is way comfier than I would've imagined.

We both climbed into the comfiest bed I've ever been on and got under the velvet red sheets. I rested my head down on the softest pillows. It's like lying on a cloud. Being as comfy as I am I let out an involuntary sigh of comfort,

"You alright?" Alcina chuckled as she looked over to see me sunken into the pillows,

"I don't think I've ever lain on something this comfy in my life," I breathed out, causing Alcina to chuckle once again,

"Well, I hope you enjoy it," she smiled down at me as she lay on her pillow and turned to face me, "Goodnight Marl,"

"Goodnight Cina."

We both brought our bodies close together and wrapped our arms around our bodies, I nestled  my head underneath Alcina's chin and lay her cheek on top of my head. Just as I was starting to fall asleep I couldn't hold it in anymore,

"I love you," I mumbled.

"And I love you."
