2 weeks later

I haven't heard from or seen any of the other Lords these past 2 weeks, Mother Miranda came over last week to inform Donna and me that we are now officially Lords of the village. I haven't recovered from my visit to the castle, still feel as if I've forgotten something. I haven't been able to place the feeling, I've never felt this way before, I don't feel like myself. I've tried to keep myself busy these past weeks, I've preoccupied myself with getting to know the village. Mother Miranda was kind enough to give me some notes she's gathered regarding the village and its occupants, it's quite interesting to know just how devoted the villagers are to us and how far they will go to prove their loyalty to Mother Miranda.

I was sitting on the new sofa in mine and Donna's living space, I've also spent the last 2 weeks upgrading all of our furniture, upgrading a few pieces so that I'm able to comfortably sit on them whilst making sure that Donna won't struggle to use them. A knock on the front door echoed through the house, I got up to get it knowing that Donna wouldn't be able to hear it. Donna has been awake since 4 in the morning working away in the basement, she left me a note to not disturb her at all, I haven't seen her since last night.

I opened the oak doors to see a hunched figure making its way through the door,

"Good morning Marl," Alcina greeted me rising from her hunched figure, I don't know where the nickname has come from but I'm not going to lie, I absolutely love it.

I took a moment to look her over, she looked no different than she did when we first met but she somehow looked even more magnificently beautiful. Just by looking at her, I could feel myself feeling whole, what I'd been missing these last few weeks coming back to me. I need to ask Donna for some of her special tea, I think I'm becoming ill.

"Lady Dimitrescu, what a pleasant surprise," I smiled,

"I'm sorry for intruding. I haven't had a quiet moment for weeks, all day I couldn't stop thinking about you," Me? I mentally blanked, "And Donna," she snapped me out of my trance, of course, why would she travel over just to see me? "I just thought that I should check in, and see how you are doing,"

"That's very nice of you. We've both been good. I've been quite busy with finding oversized furniture," I pointed over to a large chair placed beside Donna's rocking chair in our foyer,

"Ah yes. I'll give you my contacts for any clothes or furniture you need," Alcina's eyes swept over my figure, her eyes remained on my attire, I looked down to see what captured her attention running my eyes over my light pink sundress, trying to find any stains that might've caught her eye. Nothing is amiss,

"Are you alright?" I asked her carefully,

"Yes," she breathed out, "You look very nice," she looked into my eyes. Her gold eyes are the most mesmerising thing I've ever seen, I could stare into them forever,

"Thank you," I forced myself to say after a solid minute of silence, "I pale in comparison to you though," I blush

"Oh stop it, you're the most wonderful thing I've seen in weeks," Alcina smiled, I let out a giggle. A giggle?! Get a grip Marlene, "I came by to ask if you had any plans for today?"

"Apart from sitting on my ass, no I have no plans," I gazed up at the beautiful woman in front of me. I love how her hair never falls out of place. I'm quite ashamed to admit that I'm developing a little bit of a crush on the 9ft woman in front of me. I've only known her for 2 weeks and I've only spent 1 day with her, but from everything we discussed, she's the most magnificent woman I've seen in my life. As much as I've tried to deny it by keeping myself busy these past weeks, I haven't been able to stop thinking about her, every night she's in my dreams. Looking at her now, just being in her presence is having such a crazy effect on me, I've felt shaky since the day I left her castle and now I feel at peace.
