Back Home

After everything that went down, the Stark family finally made it home, yet things seemed to be pretty tense.

As of right now, Stephanie sat in her room alone. After everything that happened with Obie and the "iron man", she had thought her life of action was over. But of course, nothing ever seemed to really go her way.

She was sitting at her desk drawing, something Stephanie always did to clear her mind. Over the last couple of months, Stephanie's room had finally gained some personality. The walls were painted a light grey with dozens upon dozens of messy drawings plastered among them. Her bed was situated in the middle of the room with blue sheets and an iron man pillow. At first she didn't want it, but Tony insisted saying it would help keep the nightmares away and now, after nights of sleeping with it she couldn't help but agree. Next to the pillow was a fluffy pink bear. Stephanie never really like the color pink but this bear was an exception. It was a gift for her birthday from Pepper and Tony, and that being the first birthday she'd ever celebrate and it being the first toy she was ever given, she never slept without it.

In one corner of the room she had a little seating area with mini couches and chair fit for a girl her size and a large TV that she never really used but always provided some nice background noise. And in front of her bed was her desk, cluttered with pencils, papers, and splattered with messy marker marks.

As of right now she was drawing, to the best of her abilities (which isn't saying much), whiplash as she called him. She payed extra attention to detail when it come to his lightning.  The way it could slice through anything, and the amount of energy, power that it gave off intrigued her. She put down her pencil that she was sketching with and picked a blue marker and began to color it in. Although she wasn't the best at drawing, I mean... she's only 8, she made sure to never color outside the lines because, as any Stark would say,

"It needs to be perfect."

"I think it is Ms. Stark." Jarvis replied. "The blue is very vibrant."

"Thanks Jarvis." She smiled. Jarvis was always there to talk and keep her company. he was like her personal diary and you'd be surprised with how much she's exposed when talking to him. "Are we still doing game night for Tony's birthday?"

"Uhm, I'm not quite sure. You'll have to ask him." The A.I hesitated.

"Oh, um. Okay." The girl frowned. Tony's been acting weird lately and usually she's been able to tell when somethings up and whats wrong but, he's been very good at deflecting. When Pepper had suggested that the family have a game night to celebrate Tony's birthday Stephanie, although she didn't show it, was pretty excited. She never had a normal childhood and never experienced this 'game night' thing, so she was looking forward to it. Speaking of which,

"Steph?" A knock followed quickly after Peppers voice. Stephanie hummed in acknowledgement as she continued to draw. She heard the latch of the door and Pepper walking closer. "You wanna head downstairs with me?" Stephanie felt Pepper lightly grasp her should and smiled up at her. She hopped up from her stool and grabbed onto Pepper's smooth hand and followed her down stairs.

Almost immediately after they left her soundproof room Stephanie could hear a loud crowd and music playing. She furrowed her brows as Pepper led her down, the older women having a very similar confused expression.

When they entered the room, filled with women in skimpy outfits and men in suits, the two girls' attention quickly turned to the not surprisingly drunk Tony dancing in his iron man suit.
