Lavender stopped dead in her tracks as she saw the sun setting down behind the horizon.

Hawk grasped her arm and yanked her in a different direction, snapping her out of her enchanted-like state.

Lavender ran right behind Hawk once he let go of her arm. The crunching of grass and leafs under their feet.

They stopped for a moment just to catch their breath. The sun was out of view and the moon peeked over the tree line.

Although that was not the only thing that peeked out from the forest.

An arrow whized right in front of Lavender's face. She shrieked as she watched it inbed itself in the ground beside her and Hawk.

Hawk looked around desperately before hissing "No time to find the village. We need to find something else."

Hawk grabbed Lavender's arm once more and began to drag her before she started to run again. Still out of breath from running mere moments before.

The duo eventually slipped into a small cave in the side of a mountain.

Lavender swiftly blocked it off the entrance of the cave with some wood she had left over.

Hawk leaned against the wall of the cave before sliding down the stone wall, pulling his knees close to his chest.

After making sure the entrance was securely covered Lavender took her pickaxe and swung at a black ore inbeded in the wall of this cave that seemed to be getting colder..?

She mined out several coal and placed down her crafting table from earlier. She put a bit of coal on the crafting table along with a stick.

They circled each other before a soft glow came from the top of the torch.

She took the torch and walked over to Hawk, sitting next to him.

She carefully placed the torch down in front of them.

They sat in silence, watching the flame crackle a burn seemingly endlessly with the background noise of groaning zombies just outside.

As much as the duo would've liked to sleep they couldn't. They just sat there restlessly, unable to sleep.

They eventually came to the conclusion that they would not be able to sleep until they got proper beds.

"Some Minecraft mechanics aren't gonna change." Hawk stated which made Lavender nod gently in agreement.

"Now that we're somewhat safe... I want to touch up on a subject that neither of us probably have the answer to... How do we get out?"
