Draken and I seem to be doing okay.
We haven't hung out alone or spent the same night at home, but we are still able to be ourselves around each other. Throwing shade, laughing and occasionally flirting, which tends to lead to us both becoming awkward for a moment.
It's New Year's Eve and I've got plans with Ran. At least I'm hoping I do. He didn't leave a number, so I had no way of letting him know I was going to show up.
The boys all made plans with each other and are keeping it a secret from us girls. Emma and Hina tried making plans with me, so I ultimately had to spill what I was already planning on doing. They didn't exactly approve but they also haven't tried to stop me. Thankfully I can count on them to keep it to themselves.
Another key detail Ran left out of the note, was when I should arrive. Having anxiety all day about when I should get ready, show up, and what the hell are we even going to do. Judging by the gift, I can take a few guesses but- No, no. I need to stop over thinking this.
Everything I've done today has not been able to distract me. Leaving me with no choice but to get ready halfway through my day. I took my time straightening my hair and doing my makeup. Not wanting to go to crazy I settled on a more natural look. Using warm neutral eyeshadow colors and a peachy shimmer on top. Winged eyeliner as per usual, mascara, and a nude lip.
For my outfit I chose a plain, tight-fitting cream-colored long sleeve sweater tucking it into a black flared mini skirt and black cross strapped heels to match. Underneath, I of course wore the lingerie set from the man himself.
Lounging in my room, scrolling endlessly through my phone to pass the time. There was a knock at my door, followed by a familiar voice. "Kiyoko, there's a man asking for you up front." It was Haru from the front desk. A man asking for me. The only logical answer is that it's Ran but why would he be here? Panic has officially set in. All the girls are going to see him. I will never hear the end of it.
Grabbing my jacket and purse, I headed for the front. Stepping out of the entryway, Ran was nowhere in sight. "Kiyoko?" The unfamiliar voice came from a man in a suit. "Um, yes." I answered him. Feeling disappointed at my own high hopes of it being Ran. Ha, I really thought. "Mr. Haitani sent me. I will be your driver whenever you are ready." He said smiling and bowing at me. Looking at my phone to check the time, it read 5:36pm. "I um- I'm ready." I followed behind the driver down the elevator and out to a blacked-out SUV. I'm really about to get into a stranger's car solely based off them saying that they were sent by a Haitani. This is how you die Kiyoko.
Anxious the entire ride at what was in store for me. There was a lot of traffic, so it took longer than expected. Plenty of time for me to overthink and create fake scenarios of what is to come. The SUV pulled into the driveway of the Haitanis estate. Parking in front of the entrance, the driver got out and directed me inside. "Mr. Haitani, your guest has arrived!" He shouted.
"Thank god you showed up. I don't think I could take any more begging from Ran to go out with him tonight." Rindou said leaning against the railing upstairs in sweatpants and a t-shirt. "Uh. You're welcome?" I said standing awkwardly. "Come on up, Ran is in his room." Rindou said nodding his head to the right.
I slowly climbed the stairs, having flashbacks to Christmas. Don't get horny just yet Kiyoko. Contain yourself. Reaching the second floor, Rindou pointed to the end of the hall. "Thank you." I said making my way to the half-opened door. Not wanting to intrude, I knocked on the door.
"In here love." He called out. I opened the door the rest of the way revealing a minimalistic blacked out bedroom. A floor to ceiling window with window seats lining it on the right side. In the back corner next to the window was a large master bathroom. On the back wall adjacent to the bathroom was a walk-in closet full of expensive clothes, shoes and accessories. A simple square canopy bed frame framed the king size bed in the center of the room. On the left side of the room was a black couch centered on the wall. Two tall lamps placed on either side of the couch, with a few simple black and white paintings on the wall above. A giant TV sat on the wall to the left of the door and an oversized black chair in between the window and door to the right. The lighting was dimmed just enough to not be bright but also not completely dark.
