After I avenged my ego, I went back messing around with men. My life became silent; and silent means fun to me.

I went to a club which I’ve never been before. Everyone are so wild in this club. Hindi na 'ko nagulat. Club, eh.

Bonjour, Mademoiselle. Are you alone?” Talk starter pack.

I am sitting silently in front of the counter. A glass of Vodka on my hand. I stayed silent while slightly head-banging as I listened to the loud music.

Ngumiti ako sa lalaking lumapit sa akin. In fairness, ang gwapo niya! Daks kaya ‘to? Ehe.

“Oui, Monsieur. How about you? Are you alone as well?” tanong ko.

He chuckled and sat beside me. “I am. I never thought I would see a woman as beautiful in a place like this.”

I chuckled. “Oh, you’re such a flatterer. Thanks for your compliment. But I can see nothing wrong with a beautiful lady inside a club.”

“Well, I do. I’m a policeman and I care. I’m just worried about your sake. In a place like this, a lot of bad things might happen to you. Men inside this kind of place knows nothing but salivate at women.”

“Well, are you? Perhaps?” I raised my brows at him as I smirked.

He stopped for awhile with his mouth opened a bit. Then he chuckled and shook his head. “You got me there.”

I laugh. “Yeah. I got you there. And why is a policeman like you hangs out in a place like this anyway? What if your co-policemen saw you. They might report you to your head or whatever that is called.”

He chuckled. “My boss ordered me to come here. If it weren’t because of his order, I should’ve just stayed inside my office and study cases.”

I noticed that he’s a good guy. Well, I’ve met a lot of good guys, but the difference is this man, he didn’t hit on me. He just talked to me.

“Oh wow. Such a good guy.” I laugh and shook my head.

“What about you? What are you doing here, Mademoiselle?” tanong niya.

“Enjoying the night. I’m a woman who loves fun. So, here I am, enjoying and having fun,” saad ko.

“It looks like you’re not having fun, though. You were just sitting here since you went inside—”

“Were you spying on me? Wait—are you spying on me?” I joked.

He laugh. “No, I’m not. You just caught my attention. And no, I’m not hitting on you. You’re just the first woman who isn’t familiar with me. I’ve been here since a month ago and I already know the loyal customers and it’s my first time seeing you.”

I nodded and chuckled. “Chill. I was just kidding. It’s my first time here. It’s fun. Actually, I’m gonna dance later. You’ll see.”

“Really? Much better if you would just sit down there. Much safer,” aniya.

“I can handle myself, Monsieur.” I smirked. “By the way, what’s your name?”

I always asks every man’s name that I met and forgot it eventually. But I guess, I wouldn’t be forgetting his name.
