That must be some quirk

We get to the classroom door and I start thinking about having to see Pink Cheeks, Eyebags, and Deku. Fuck, I don't want to have brown, purple, or green hair all day. Then I realize that right now it's probably still red.

"Hey," I call out to Shitty Hair before he walks in. "Um, can you ask Denki to come out here?"

He looks at me with a question on has face, "Yeah, um, sure thing."

As he turns away I can't help but think that he looked upset. He walks in and I'm left in the hall trying to figure out if I pissed him off some how. I mean, I made him breakfast for fucks sake.

Before I can dwell on it too much, Denki walks out. "Kiri said you wanted to see me?"

"Yeah, I want my hair to change back before going into class." I say with huff. I don't look up at him at first as I don't want to feel so dam weak dealing with these emotions again.

When he doesn't respond, I glance to see him with a questioning look. "So you haven't told Kiri how you feel about him yet? Is that why he looks so down?"

"What?" I gasp. I hadn't even thought about that. "Well shit. Why is this so dam complicated." I say more to myself then anything.

I look up at Denki and he's now grinning like a fool. "Don't sweat it man. He can wait a few days before you confess your lo-ove." He practically sings the last word.

"Dammit Denki, would you shut the fuck up!" I try not to yell at him too loud since we're right outside the door.

The look of pure surprise on his face makes me realize that he didn't think what he was saying was actually true. "Dude!! Are you serious? You're crushin on Kiri?" Thankfully he lowered his voice as he said the last part.

I glared at him "Can you just help me get to my dam seat without having to look at anybody else and have my fucking hair change color again ?"

He looks at me with very sincere eyes. "Sure, sure, and I promise I won't say anything to anyone about the other thing. Let's go. Keep your eyes down and just follow me to your seat."

He walks into the room and I follow close behind. I keep my head down and only look at his shoes in front of me. When we get next to my seat, he has actually remembered to stand where I won't see Deku. I guess he's smarter than I thought.

I let out a quick "Thanks," under my breath and take my seat. I get my stuff out of my bag and look down at my desk just as I hear Aizawa enter the room.

"Morning class." He starts. "This morning you will be working out of your workbooks, reading chapters 13 to 19. These are all situations where heros made mistakes in the field. Read them and learn from them."

I glance up and see that he's looking right me. I quickly look back down before I'm tempted to look over at Shitty Hair.

"This afternoon, after lunch," Aizawa continues, "we will have field practice running through some of these scenarios to see if you can do any better. You'll be in groups of 5 that have been selected at random. You need to realize that sometimes you won't have a choice as to what other heros you'll have to work with."

Shit, I think, who the fuck am I going have to work with.

"The groups are as follows." I hear his monotone voice read out. "Group one: Iida, Kirishima, Mineta, Jiro, and Hagakure. Group two: Kaminari, Koda, Uraraka, Todoroki, and Sato. Group three: Midoriya, Asui, Ashido, Shoji, and Tokoyami. Group four: Bakugo, Ojiro, Sero, Yaoyarozu, and Shinsou."

The class starts talking all at once but Aizawa continues, slightly louder then before. "Read quietly for the first hour and then split into your groups to discuss possible strategies. You will not be told what you'll be facing."

Fuck! Now I'll have to be around Eyebags and my hair will be purple all day. Ugh, I hate this.

The first hour passes by rather quickly and then people start moving around to sit with their groups.

Sero approaches me first as he knows that I'm not moving. "Hey man, how ya doing?" He asks quietly.

"Just great, I get to look like Eyebags all day." I mumble as the rest of our group walks over. Without thinking, I look up as they approach.

I hear a small gasp. "Uh, Bakugo? Why is your hair turning purple?" Ponytail asks.

I glance at Sero and nod in direction of the rest of our group. He nods back and turns to them. "He was hit by a quirk on patrol Friday. He doesn't really want to talk about it."

I guess I did alright with having these idiots as friends. As much as I complain about them, they do always have my back. "Enough about my hair. We need a plan."

"A plan?" Karate Tail asks.

"Yea. A plan to get through any of these problems." I start. "If we make a plan for each of them, then we can't fail."

"I would think that we should have a generic plan that can be adapted to any situation." Ponytail states. "That way we can improvise depending on the situation."

Everyone agrees and we talk strategy the rest of the morning. The bell rings and I get ready to leave. I've been so engrossed in class that I didn't really think about my emotions until I hear Shitty Hair and Denki talking as they walk up to me and Sero.

"I'm starving." Denki says. "What about you guys?"

"Well, I got fed by Bakubro this morning, so I'm not that hungry." Shitty Hair says. "But I can always eat. So let's go."

I look up at him, but before I can say anything I hear another gasp from Ponytail. "And now it's red. That must have been some quirk."

"Tell me about it." I grumble. "Let's go before I change again."
