Makoto Naegi and Kyoko Kirigiri had recently gotten married. They couldn't be happier that day. Sure, they were exhausted that night, but they'd rather be tired than not be with the person they loved the most.

"Makoto, can you come down here for a second?" Kyoko yelled, from downstairs. Makoto was tired and very sleepy. He was walking sloppily downstairs. "Yes...Kyoko?" He yawned, clearly tired. Kyoko smiled sweetly at Makoto, causing him to smile back with his eyes closed.

"Could you...help me with..." She asked, hesitantly. She wasn't sure what to say. She wanted to hang out with Makoto, but she wanted an excuse to do so.

"Is something wrong, Kyoko...?" Makoto asked, having a worried look plastered on his face. He rubbed his eyes to make sure he was looking at her correctly. He noticed that Kyoko was deep in thought. 'I think I know what she's trying to do.' He thought. Makoto walked towards Kyoko, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Kyoko was surprised by this. She was caught off guard, after all, she was lost in thought, forgetting her husband was in front of her. She put her arms around his neck, pulling him closer into the embrace.

"So, do you want to finish what you were going to say?" Makoto asked, chuckling. Kyoko couldn't suppress her smile. He was so childish she loved him because of that, and many other reasons.

"I just wanted to spend some time together..." She said, sheepishly. Makoto smiled, realizing Kyoko was embarrassed to admit it.

Makoto kissed Kyoko on the cheek. "Alrighty, do you want to watch a movie and cuddle?" He asked, smiling sweetly at his lover. Kyoko nuzzled her face on the crook of Makoto's neck, proceeding to hide the crimson red blush spread around her face.

Makoto picked up Kyoko, bridal style, causing Kyoko to yelp unexpectedly. Makoto turned to Kyoko showing an amused expression. She nuzzled her head farther into the crook of his neck, sheepishly.

He kissed Kyoko's forehead and brought her to their shared bedroom. Makoto settled Kyoko onto the bed while trying to find a comfortable position for himself. Once he did, Kyoko cuddled against him, and they began to watch the movie.

After they finished watching it, Kyoko realized Makoto had fallen asleep. She found this adorable, so she covered Makoto up with blankets. She wasn't tired yet, so she wanted to find something productive to do without waking Makoto up. She decided to do what she usually enjoyed doing, reading.

A little bit around fifteen minutes later, Makoto had woken up. He put his head on Kyoko's shoulder and put his hand around her waist. "Good morning? afternoon? night?" Makoto said, clearly confused at what the time currently was. Kyoko chuckled softly, "It's the afternoon, dear. You didn't sleep too long." She clarified to her confused husband.

"Great! So, I have the rest of my day to spend with you!" Makoto said, enthusiastically.
