"It's the perfect day to confess your feelings towards Kyoko!" Sayaka said, while speaking to Makoto.
It was February 14th, mostly known as Valentine's Day. You know where this is going, everyone gets with their couples, if they don't have one, they might confess to their crush. To put it into simple words, it's the day of love. Makoto has a huge crush on Kyoko Kirigiri that he's been hiding for over seven months. Sayaka told Kyoko about Makoto's crush on her when he liked her for five months, luckily for him, Kyoko didn't exactly believe Sayaka's statement.
"No! What if she doesn't like me back? What if I ruin our friendship?" Makoto said, anxious about the situation he was put in. Makoto was regretting what he was thinking. 'What if I do confess to Kyoko?' Part of him wanted to confess but another side of him told him not to, that it was way too risky. He did realize, what's the point in life if you don't take some risks? That's when he decided, he is going to confess to Kyoko!
"Fine, fine! I'll confess to Kyoko...later." He told Sayaka, with a hint of excitement in his voice.
"Yes!" Sayaka cheered.

Makoto was walking to Kyoko's dorm when he realized there was something in front of his door. He was a bit curious about what it was, so he thought, 'Waiting to confess to Kyoko wouldn't hurt, right?' So, he walked towards his door and picked up the small note in front of it. It read, "Dear Makoto, I'm quite certain you'll see this. I dropped this note in front of your door because I want you to meet me at the roof. Please arrive as soon as you read this note.
Sincerely,
your secret admirer."
Makoto was shocked, 'I need to confess to Kyoko, but neither do I want to keep this person waiting. I'll knock on Kyoko's door if she isn't there, then I'll go to the roof.'
So, Makoto made his way to Kyoko's door and knocked. No answer. He went running to the stairs, trying to get to the rooftop as fast as he could. He'd already made his "secret admirer" wait long enough. When he finally arrived, he was panting, luckily, he wasn't sweating. He didn't want to make a bad impression in front of his secret admirer. Makoto ran his hand through his hair quickly, and went through the doors, trying to find sight of somebody.
"Huh...I guess I took too long..." Makoto said, dejectedly.
"Not yet, Makoto..." Kyoko said, softly. Makoto turned around, seeing Kyoko's long lavender hair swaying through the air. He gasped, was it really happening?
"Makoto, you likely have a clue on what's going on, correct?" Kyoko asked, rather pointing out on the probable scenario they're in.
"Uh...I won't get my hopes up." Makoto replied, not sure what to think at the moment. Kyoko giggled then walked up to Makoto. "Makoto, I... like you. For...a long time now. I didn't believe Sayaka because I wanted you to tell me, not her." Kyoko said softly, so close to Makoto that he could feel her breath on his lips.
He was turning different shades of red that nobody would believe was possible. "If you're willing to tell me how you feel, then I'd like to hear it, please." Makoto was stunned, but extremely content. "I do too...I was terrified when Sayaka told you...and when she said you didn't believe her, I thought that meant you didn't like me." Makoto replied.
Kyoko chuckled, lightly. "May I steal your kiss...?" Kyoko asked, sheepishly. Makoto nodded, anxiously. They both leaned in, they kissed passionately for a few seconds. It was both their first time, so it wasn't anything extreme.
Valentine's really is a day of romance, huh?
(A/N I won't have time to post it on February 14th, since of school and then I have a ton of homework to complete, so have it now to enjoy! Part of this was inspired by an Irl experience that I've had. Yes, my friend told my crush that I liked her when I liked her for over 5 months. Anyways, enough about me, hope you enjoyed this one-shot!)
