"...She's so pretty, intelligent, and-" Makoto said, before getting interrupted. "Okay, okay, we get it, lovebird. Maybe instead of rambling to us about her, you should tell her." Byakuya told Makoto, in an annoyed voice. "Gosh, because of you, I memorized her name." Makoto sheepishly scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, Togami... It's just... y'know." Makoto said before he started to ramble on again. "Why don't you like a girl like, I don't know, Maizono?" Byakuya asked, wondering why he would like someone like "her." "I don't need anybody, she's just... always on my mind," Makoto replied to Byakuya's question, still not being too clear. "You're a lost cause, Naegi." Makoto stood up from his chair, "Before you go, I don't know why you ramble on about her when you're literally dating her!" Byakuya yelled, stating the obvious. "R-Right..." Makoto said, awkwardly. "I need to go now; I have to meet up with Kyoko!" Makoto waved goodbye to Byakuya, before running off. He ran as fast as he could to reach Kyoko's dorm. He caught his breath before knocking on the door.  He slowly knocked on the door, receiving an answer from the other side. "Give me a second, Makoto!" Kyoko yelled, before opening the door. "H-Hey..." Makoto said, slightly blushing from seeing his girlfriend. "Hey, Makoto, ready to go?" Kyoko asked, with a subtle smile on her lips. Makoto quickly nodded before reaching his hand out, hoping Kyoko would take it. She soon noticed this and took his hand, intertwining their fingers. Both Makoto and Kyoko blushed slightly at this gesture. For some reason, they both greatly appreciated the loving gesture. They both walked out of Hope's Peak Academy in a comforting silence they both enjoyed. "Kyoko... I love you." Makoto said slowly, trying not to be too sudden. Kyoko was taken aback by his statement but nonetheless appreciated it. "I do too, Makoto," Kyoko replied, lovingly. They walked through a park they had soon arrived at, having beautiful scenery to look at. Walking in between many Sakura trees, with a couple of petals flying through the air since it was slightly windy that day. Makoto and Kyoko eventually stopped walking, enjoying their surroundings. Makoto took advantage of this, seeing that Kyoko was distracted by the Sakura trees. He swept Kyoko off her feet hugging her from behind. Kyoko, surprised by this, clung onto Makoto's arms that were wrapped around her waist. After a few more seconds, Makoto put Kyoko down, which Kyoko was grateful for. "Next time, please tell me you'll do that," Kyoko said, sighing in relief at being on the ground again. "Sorry, I thought it would be nice. Wait-- were you scared?" Makoto replied, soon realizing he could tease Kyoko. "I wouldn't say scared... just worried you would drop me, Makoto," Kyoko said, a sly smirk on her face. Makoto registered that Kyoko thought he wasn't strong enough to carry her. "Hey! That's mean!" Makoto pouted, furrowing his eyebrows and a small frown forming on his lips. Kyoko chuckled at his child-like response, getting close to him and planting a kiss on Makoto's cheek. Makoto's expression soon turned from upset to a shocked one. "Oh, don't act like it's the first time I do this, Makoto," Kyoko said, gently sliding her gloved hand into Makoto's. "Kyoko, you know that I'm very vulnerable when it comes to your kisses..." Makoto said, gently rubbing the spot where Kyoko had previously planted a kiss on, admiring it. After that, Makoto took Kyoko's hand in his, and they slowly walked back to Hope's Peak. Before they walked into Hope's Peak, Makoto kissed Kyoko, quickly, and ran off into the school, leaving Kyoko alone at the entrance.

Kyoko pressed her finger to her lips, praising the moment they had just shared.

( A/N: So, I felt bad for promising a one-shot and it being incredibly short, so here it is, the one you all actually deserve! I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, see you next one-shot! )

(Fun fact: The reason I mentioned Sakura trees is because during Kyoko's free time events, she mentions that she likes Sakura trees, I think, that is if  I remember correctly. I haven't played the game in a couple of months, since I finished it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
