Calum's P.O.V.
As I pulled into the camp parking lot, I saw two guys that looked about my age. One had blonde hair and was wearing a lot of black. The other had red hair and was wearing a band tee. They looked friendly enough. I pulled into the spot right next to the blondes car and hopped out.
"I'm Calum Hood. I don't know my way around and I'm hoping one of you does." I announced before grabbing my stuff from the back seat and locking my car.
"I'm Michael Clifford. And no I don't but he does." Michael said patting Luke's shoulder.
"Hey Calum. I'm Luke Hemmings and luckily for you I know this place like the back of my hand. So. Shall we?" He said heading towards the trail.
"So tell me about yourselves boys." I said.
"Well. You already know my name so. I mean. I like green day. I play guitar. Is rather be sleeping right now." Michael finished.
"People describe me as punk rock and mean except I'm really nice. I am almost 18 and I thoroughly enjoy the color black and green day." Luke smiled.
"Alright. Well. I guess I'll go now. I am 17 almost 18. My dads an asshole and you guys seem cool because we al have common interests." I told them.
"I can see a great friendship." Luke told us.
We walked for another 4 minutes until we got to the camp. It was kind of cool actually. It looked like an authentic camp.
"So. We're gonna go to registration and were some of the first people here so we get a choice of a cabin mates. Each cabin holds 4 people. So if you guys want w can have a cabin together, yeah?" Luke planned.
"Sure." Michael and I both said in unison.
We walked up to a table with a young man and an old woman at it.
"Hemmings, Luke. And we'd prefer the lake house cabin."
"Alright. Do you have 3 other people or do you want random people in there with ya?" The old lady with the name of Helen asked him.
"I have two and we can take a random camper. Just make sure he's in the same age range please Helen?" Luke smiled.
"Sure thing. You know the rules." Helen smiled back and handed him a bag of things.
"Hood, Calum." I told Helen.
"I'm assuming you're with Luke." Helen smiled.
"Yeah. So is he." I pointed to Michael.
"Hey you. Last and first name. " Helen said.
"Clifford, Michael." I said.
"Okay, well boys. Ill save you the time talking to a boring old lady like me and let luke explain the contents of these bags. By the way. I'm Helen and this here is Derek. The camp director." She said as she waved us along so she could get the next person behind us.
"So what are these for?" I asked Luke holding them up in examination.
"How about we walk to our cabin first. Then I'll tell you. I want to tell you about the cabin first." Luke decided
"Okay." Michael agreed.
"Well. The Lakeside Cabin is pretty much the best cabin. Helen saves it for me because she knows it's my favorite thing here. Last year me and my buds rigged it up so we could get electricity." He smiled.
"Dude. No. Fucking. Way. Here I thought I was gonna be stuck with no wifi." I cheered.
"Damnit. I left my iPod at home." Michael sighed.
"Well. We have 2 laptops. A fridge. A microwave. A tv. And a radio. My old buds left them as gifts. It was their las year here. So it's all ours. And no one else knows. Plus. We have a great view of the lake. And the girls camp across the lake." He explained more in depth as we approached a huge cabin.
"Wait I thought this was a multi gendered camp?" Michael asked.
"Oh it is. Just the girls sleep across from the boys because....well you know," Luke answered "we're here." He pointed out.
"Let's go in!" I screamed.
Luke pulled a key from the bag and unlocked the door. Once we got inside I realized something. This camp was kind of bad ass.
"Holy shit dude. This looks like a beach house." I yelled.
"Dude yeah it does." Michael said.
"This is just the living room. This is the biggest cabin here. Except tere is only one bed room. 4 beds. 2 single and one bunk. The room is big though." Luke explained.
"DIBS ON A SINGLE!" Michael yelled and ran to a random room.
"Now we wait on the new guy and unpack." Luke said.
