Calums pov
The morning so far has been fun. I mean. Breakfast. Then shopping for food and liquor. And now Taco Bell. I mean. I've never had Taco Bell before. But if I tell the boys that they'll make a huge deal.
"Hey. Larry texted." Ashton told us as we sat in the parking lot of Taco Bell, eating food.
"He can meet us downtown in 45 minutes." He says putting his phone in his pocket.
"Okay so. What do we do for the next 45 minutes?" I ask everyone.
"Does anyone smoke cigarettes?" Luke asked.
"Occasionally." Michael said.
"Depends on my mood." Ashton shrugged.
"Hey! That's something I've done before." I laughed.
"Hey Calum. Can I drive? I mean. This is where I live. I don't need GPS." I ask.
"Sure." He replies.
Calum and I switch seats. I climb into the drivers seat and adjust the steering wheel, mirrors and the seat.
"We're going to a place called Tony's." I tell them all.
"What's that?" Michael asked.
"It's a gas station that doesn't card. They just like money. They make bank because they're right near a high school too." I tell them.
The drive was 7 minutes long. Chico isn't a large town and traffic isn't very bad.
"If you guys want a pack then follow me."
All the boys followed me.
Wow. We have some bad habits.
I'm the first one to get to the counter so I buy first.
"Can I get a pack of camel menthols?" I ask the guy behind the counter.
He grabs a pack from the shelf behind him and rings it up.
"Six dollars and eighty-nine cents."
I gave him a ten.
After he gave me my change I shoved the pack in my pocket.
Each of the boys got the same kind I did.
Like I said. Bad habits.
I'm not proud that I smoke cigarettes but I mean. It's not my fault.
When I was 12 my dad practically shoved cigarettes down my throat constantly due to his permanent drunk stupor.
I guess I got addicted and quitting is harder than you think.
Thank god for my grandma being rich though. Smoking for so long makes your teeth yellow as fuck and if it weren't for expensive dentists, my teeth would be like corn.
No one would even suspect that I smoked.
"What do we do now?" I asked.
"We can go to the high school and smoke? I heard there was some type of musical or some shit going down and the weird ass school on campus is having rehearsal" Ashton said.
"What do you mean weird ass school?" Michael asked.
"There's two schools on one campus. One school is one of the main high schools and the other is a weird arts school. Everyone there sucks asshole. They're all judge mental little shits." Ashton explain.
"How do you know so much?" Luke asked him.
"I went for a semester and a half last year an had to leave due to the kids there. They're terrible. The principle doesn't give a shit about the people with real opinions." He went on.
"Let's go then." Luke said.
"Hey let's make another stop real quick." I said.
"Where to?" Ashton asked me.
"The store. We gonna need some stuff." I said.
"Uh oh. Watch out. Calum-no-good coming your way." Michael laughed.
