Ashton's POV
"I smell weed." Some guy whispered.
"Me too." Luke said kind of angry.
Oh shit.
He must've been the guy whose weed I stole.
"I can explain." I said.
"Go for it." Luke said sternly.
"We have the same bag and I forgot where I put mine so as soon as I opened my bag- well you're bag but still, I saw what I thought was my weed. So I grabbed it and smoked it. Except I didn't even look to see if it was my bag. I'm sorry man. You can have mine." I lied through my teeth.
I wasn't gonna tell them that I saw a huge ass spider, threw the nearest thing and saw his weed. Fuck that.
"Alright. I believe you." Luke said with a smile.
THANK GOD.
"Well. I'm Luke. This is Calum and Michael." He said pointing to the two who were dumbfounded.
"Wait. Luke. You smoke? I mean I knew you were punk rock or whatever but I also thought you were some goody-two-shoes." Calum laughed.
"Yeah well, I've done some things. Just know I'm like an onion. Lots of fuckin layers." Luke laughed pretending to peel layers from himself.
"Figured you smell kind of bad." Michael laughed.
"You kind of look like an onion, too." Calum joined in.
We all laughed for a good 10 minutes.
"You guys are pretty cool. I'm glad I didn't get a bunch of fuckin nerds in my cabin." Ashton laughed.
"Honestly. I was scared that I would have lame guys too. All of my friends left last year. They were crazy. I can tell you guys are pretty wild too. Let's do some bonding though. I think it'll be good though." Luke told us.
"I'm down." I said.
"Same." Michael said.
"I guess." Calum sighed sarcastically.
---
We had been at camp for about 8 hours. So far, all of us boys had managed to get a tour of both the cabin and camp, unpack, smoke out and make 4 stops to the trading post.It all started when Luke grabbed my pipe and smoked what ever was left in it.
"I've never smoked before." Calum said just staring.
"Me neither." Michael just shrugged.
"You guys wanna try?" I asked them.
"Sure." Michael and Calum said in unison.
Luke taught them how to smoke while I sat on the sofa, looking at my phone.
Why hasn't Tessa texted me? I decided to call her.
"Guys. I'll be back." I called out before walking into the bathroom. God this cabin was like a hotel room.
I dialed her number and waited.
"Hello?" Tessa answered.
"Where are you?" I asked her.
"Oh I'm glad you called because I need to tell you something."
"What is it, babe?"
"We're breaking up. I never actually planned on going to camp. My cousin is actually the guy I've been cheating with on you. Bye." She said, hanging up.
I didn't know whether to be pissed or sad. I decided to be nothing but happy. I was finally free.
I pulled open the bathroom door only to find the guys eavesdropping but failing to do so.
"Hey fellas." I laughed.
"What just happened?" Michael asked.
"My bitch of an girlfriend just broke up with me for her 'cousin' but I don't care because all she ever did was make me buy her food and clothes and she was so goddamn rude and never appreciated me and not only that but we never had sex and she sucked at kissing. She's a bitch." I said taking a deep breath.
"Damn dude. Sounds like you need this." Calum laughed and handed me the pipe.
"Thanks man." I said as I grabbed it and took a hit.
"You guys are cool. Thanks for not hating me for smoking weed. Most people just judge me for the way I dress and the way I have my hair. But you guys....You guys accepted me without even knowing who I was. Thank you. I'm so excited to be with you guys for a few months. I see an awesome friendship." I poured my feelings out to them.
"Yeah man. you don't even know. My best friends had one year left until the age limit. That was last year and I thought I wouldn't have any friends again but here I am with the coolest guys I've ever met." Luke smiled almost tearing up.
"Awh." We all cooed and tackled Luke.
---
After that we smoked and ate so much everything was fuzzy. Before we knew it campire was in 20 minutes.
