At School (next day)
Lucas's POV
"Hi, Riles," I put his hand into Riley's.
Riley pulls away, "Hey." Riles looks upset.
"What's wrong?"
"Lucas, we can't hang out for a while." What Riley says kills me.
"What?!" I'm freaked.
"My dad was SO MAD last night, he grounded me for a month, I don't know what to do. He's never done this before."
"I'm gonna talk to him, you shouldn't be in trouble. It's my fault." "It was my idea." I feel terrible for what I did. I start to walk into his class.
Riley grabbed my arm, "Lucas don--" I pull away.

In the class room
Cory's POV
Lucas walks in, this is weird, it is his lunch period. I don't even know what to do, after last night.
"Sir," he says.
"Ye-" he cuts me off. Rude.
"I want you to know that Riley shouldn't be punished for last night. It was my idea, it was so wrong. I'm so sorry, sir. I should have more respect than that." "Punish me, not her."
"Lucas, I respect you saying that but she listened to you, she went anyways."
"Sir its peer pressure, can you blame here?"
"Lucas she will be punished. Maybe I'll cut it back." "But how can I trust you with her? After that?" Lucas starts to cry. I feel bad.
"Sir," he whimpers, "If you don't trust me with her, I'll stay away." "She deserves better than me anyways."
He wipes away his tears and walks out.

At lunch
Riley's POV
I see Lucas walk in. His face is red. I go up to him.
"Lucas, you ok?" He doesn't answer, okay now I'm worried.
He sits down. I sit down next to him.
"Lucas?" He looks at his shoes. I know he can hear me. A tear runs down my face. I start to run to my dads room.
