A little step closer. PT1

Venus recommend that they go hang out with their friends so she can get to know them again and hopefully get a flashback.

Venus wore a simple leather jacket with a thin black long sleeve shirt underneath; her pants were skinny black jeans, and she added 4 inch boots to her outfit. For her hair she decided to leave it out in an Afro after she put her leave in conditioner.

Levi wore a black jeans jacket with a gray sweater underneath and black cargo pants, for his shoes he put on of Air Force ones.

They got into the jeep and drove to where they were going to meet their friends, they decided on somewhere simple, so they chose a diner. When Levi and Venus arrived they got there before their friends so they waited at the booth for a little while.

Their friends walk up to the booth at where they're sitting at, Venus see's three males, two of them holding hands and the other guy walks next to the two women that's walking with them also.

One of the women almost ran to Venus. She had blond big curls that stopped at her shoulders, her skin was a light shade of brown, and she is tall maybe around 5'8. When she got to Venus she gave her the biggest hug, "I know you don't remember my name so I need to introduce myself again, Maelen is my name but you used to call my Mae." She smiles, Venus thinks that Mae's personality is so bubbly.

Venus laughs, "Hi Mae, sorry I don't remember you, I'll try my best." Mae sighs, "Girl its completely fine, none of this is your fault." She smiles reassuringly, Venus nods and smiles moving towards the two men holding hands, They both hug her at the same time nearly suffocating her, "Girl we where so scared when we heard the news that you were in the hospital." The man with the all black outfit said, The other man nods in agreement giving Venus a small sad smile, Venus hugs them again, "I'm sorry I worried y'all, but look I'm fine now." She did a little twirl and everyone laughed. "Well I guess we should introduce ourselves too." One of the men said and Venus nods, "Okay so I'm Elijah but for short call me Eli." The man with the all black outfit says, "And I'm Jasaih as you can tell we're a couple." He points to him and Elijah. "You guys are so cute together." Venus smiles at both of them but she was interrupted, "Okay enough of them how about us." The other women points to her and the other male; "I'm sorry I'm just trying to keep up" Venus says, "I'm just messing with you, but I'm Nayeli and this is Ezra." Venus smiles and hug's both of them.

Elijah looked like a model he has a strong bone structure wavy hair that was slightly slicked back, he's tall maybe 6'0. Jasaih has beautiful dark skin he has a low beard and a spectrum piercing, and his hair is low cut slight waves showing. Nayeli is very pretty, beautiful long straight hair, thick but perfectly shaped eyebrows, honey like skin and full lips. And Ezra has almond shaped eyes with golden skin, his body is toned and he has long wavy hair.

They all sit down at the booth and order their food. Levi interacts only a little because he wants Venus to be able to catch up with their friends. Venus enjoys catching up with her friends, she liked how they didn't treat her like a sad case, they still spoke to her like nothing had ever changed.

"You know this just proves my point about you and Levi I just knew you guys would be great for each other." Mae says after Venus spoke about how much Levi has been good to her after the incident. "Yea your ex-husband was a horrible piece of shit, I'm so glad you and Levi are married." Nayeli chimes in, Venus almost spits out her food, "I have a ex-husband?!" Venus says in shock looking at Levi who's glaring at Nayeli, "Oh shit I'm sorry I forgot." Nayeli says with an apologetic look. "Levi let me speak with you alone real quick." Venus says as she stands up, Levi sighs and follows Venus outside, "Oh shit look what you done caused." Jasaih says to Nayeli, Nayeli pinched him on the leg Jasaih mouths an "ow".

VENUS POV

My mind is racing I'm tried of things not adding up and having to piece thing's together.

"Levi what the fuck is Nayeli talking about and why don't I know about this?" I place a hand on my hip.

Levi huffs, "What Nayeli said was true, you have an ex-husband but he was a bitch so I don't get why it's important for you to know who he is." Levi shrugs

"What do you mean "Why is it important for me to know who he is" I have a fucking ex-husband Levi! That I know nothing about, yea he probably was a bitch or whatever but don't you think I deserve to know my fucking life?!" I was beyond livid at this point.

Levi sighs, "Yea you deserve to know your life, but if something is just gonna hurt you why would I tell you?"

I pinch the bridge between my eyes, "I don't think you get it Levi. I'm going to find out either way! I've been sitting here having flashbacks of bruises on my body and this strange male abusing me! And I kept quiet because I don't know what to do! Maybe if you were to just tell me what the fuck happened I wouldn't be so stressed and screaming like a lunatic right now!"

Levi's eyes widened, "Why didn't you tell me about those flashbacks? Yes I'm wrong for not telling you everything, but do you not trust me?"

I take a deep breath, "I don't know use your fucking brain Levi! If I'm having these flashbacks of this males who's face I can't see clearly, and you have been the only male I've been around since I've been in the hospital, what would you think?! Do you know how confusing that is?!"

Levi opens his mouth to speak but I cut him off before he can say anything, "I wanna go home, I'll tell everyone goodbye and then we're leaving." I turn around back to the diner entrance.

Everyone seems a little awkward on what to do, "Me and Levi are gonna head back home, I'm sorry our time was cut short but we can hang out again." I gave them a fake smile trying to cover my anger. They smiled and said their goodbyes and me and Levi got into the car, the tension that filled the car was thick almost as if I could cut with a knife.

"Listen Ve I'm so—" Levi tried to speak but I cut him off again, "Levi I'm telling you the more you try to speak to me the more your gonna piss me off so just leave me alone for fucks sake." Levi sighs in defeat.

When we made it to the house I wasted no time hoping out the car and walking inside the house, I walked up to the bedroom and locked myself in, I really want to be away from Levi right now and I don't want him inside the room. As I sit on the bed, Levi tries to open the door, "Venus I just want to talk this out it could all be resolved." I ignore him, "Venus please come out." Those words. "Venus please come out." It triggered fear throughout my whole body and with a blink of an eye I got another flashback:

I hear footsteps
Boom! One stall bust open "Venus don't do this to me." The male says. Boom! Another "Venus please come out." Before he can get to her stall he stops he turns his heals once he hears a car approaching. I let out a big sigh of relief, I wait till the coast is clear before leaving the stall I run to my car rushing to open door but it's locked, I try banging my elbow to break the glass but it wouldn't budge, I looked around for something to break the glass until I found a big rock BOOM! The glass shatters I hurry and unlock the door and hop in the car. The car won't start I panic while trying to start up the car, "come on come on start" I look up and see him standing about five feet away from the car, I continue to try to start up the car then I look up again to see him gone. My heart drops.
An engine starts I see his car starting, I feel my car moving back as I try to move forward. "Shit the cars are connected"
I leaves the car and start to run as far as I can. SREEK! BOOM!
I was hit by a car The woman in the car gets out and screams "someone help call 911 I just hit her with my car!"......
