I decided to respond to him to not seem suspicious of anything. "Uh um yea it most likely will be sold to someone else, but you can always check back on the website." I say fast, "Yea I suppose I can, are you okay though? You seem a bit shooken up." He ask moving closer, I back up, "Yea I'm completely fine, but I have to get going now." I say walking towards the door, He quickly moves towards me, "Not so fast." He grabs me by my wrist pulling me to his chest, "Get off of me!" I say trying to break out his hold but he wraps his arm around my neck. "Calm down Venus, you really thought I wouldn't have come back for you? I let you have your fun time with your so called husband, but it's time to come back to me sweetheart." He says in my ear, tears form my eyes, this is it for me, I should've just stayed home like Levi wanted me to.

No no I can't just give up I'm pregnant I can't be weak, "Go to hell." I say jabbing my elbow as hard as I could into his side to loosen his grip on my neck, he drops his arm a little and I force his arm off my neck, I turn from him and kick both his kneecaps making him fall to the ground, I go to kick him in the face but he grabs my leg pulling me down making me fall straight on my back, I scream in pain. He crawls over me and places both hands on my neck I try moving his hands away but it doesn't work, I can barely breathe from my airway, but I don't give up, I kick him with all the strength I have left in his groin, he grunts falling back, I hurry and grab the vase from the counter, he grabs my leg pulling me on top of him, I keep the vase held up high, "Why are you doing this? You never treated me right so why can't you let me go?!" I scream at his face, He laughs, "I missed this view, you on top of me, it's a shame that its in this predicament but I'll except it." He smirks, I feel something growing on his leg, I feel disgusted, "You fucking psychopath, you get turned on by almost killing me! You need serious help!" I raise the vase higher and smash it on his head, I stand up and back away, his body stays still, "I will never s-stop until I h-have you for myself Venus." He says before shutting his eyes.

I take a deep breath before grabbing my stuff and running into my car, I start the car and hurry to dial the police, "911 what is your emergency." I take a deep breath, "I think I just killed my ex husband. I was attacked by him and and I was trying to defend myself I'm pregnant I didn't know what else to do!" I say frantically, "Okay ma'am everything's going to be okay, are you still there with your ex husband?" They ask, "No I got in my car and started driving because I'm not sure if he will wake up or not!" I say trying to drive steady, "Okay, get to somewhere safe, where did everything happen?" "It happened at the house I'm selling because I'm a real estate agent." I say, "Whats the address?" They asks, "78 Park Lane." I say, "Okay we are sending officers there now, get home safely." They say, "Okay thank you." I pull into driveway of the house, I barely can open the door my back is aching and my head feels like there's a hammer pounding on my skull.

I twist the doorknob and slowly walk into the house, Levi turns his head from the couch, "Venus what the fuck happened!" He runs to me picking me up from falling, I hug him as hard as I can, I sob into his chest, "He came back Levi." I say through my sob's, "Who came back?" He asks, "My ex husband he pretended to be interested in the house and then he- he attacked me!" I say grabbing on to Levi.

Levi was furious, this was his biggest fear, that's why he didn't want Venus out on her own again because he knew this would happen.

"I'm gonna fucking kill him." Levi says, I shake my head, "I think I already did, I hit him with a vase and he didn't move but I didn't stay, I hurried and got in the car, I also called the cops." I say trying to calm him down, Levi tightens his jaw, "I'm so sorry baby, I'm sorry." He pulls me into his chest, "It's not your fault, he just won't sto- ah!" I feel a sharp pain in my stomach, "What's wrong?" Levi ask's looking at me concerned. I tear up, "I got a sharp pain in my stomach." My lip quivering, Levi's eyes soften, "It's okay, we should go to the hospital, sit down I'll get you some comfortable clothes and then we leave okay?" Levi says placing a kiss on my forehead, I nod sitting down on the couch.

I cant loose my twins I'm not even in my second trimester yet, I won't be able to live knowing I lost two children.

Levi comes back with sweat pants and a hoodie, I put them on and we get in the car, Levi holds my hand, "No matter what happens we'll be okay we'll get through it okay?" Levi says to me, I nod wiping my tears.

"There's good news and bad news. The good news is it's seems the twins are fine, but the pain you felt was because of stress and was like a warning. If you were just a little more overwhelmed then there would've been a bad outcome. The bad news is you have to be on bed rest  at home until further notice, since your not in your second trimester yet, you mostly likely won't have to be on bed rest for your whole pregnancy." The doctor explains, me and Levi feel relieved to know both twins are okay, and I don't really care about being on bed rest, as long as my twins are fine I don't care what I have to do. "Thank you, so what's my extent of moving around the house?" I ask the doctor, "If you have a two floor house I suggest your husband bring food up to you, but if is one floor you walk around to your kitchen but that's the most you can do, only the kitchen and bathroom." The doctor says, I nod, "Okay that's all do you guys have anymore questions?" The doctor asks, "Yea, what about intercourse?" Levi says, I put my face in my hands, the doctor laughs, "Well you can still have intercourse just be careful and not too much of it." The doctor says, Levi nods, "Okay thank you we'll be going now." I say grabbing Levi's hand, the doctor laughs, "Be careful, and always come back if you ever feel pain." The doctor says as we leave, "Thank you, I definitely will."

Me and Levi drive back to the house and I can't stop thinking about how everything keeps stopping me from being on my own, I can't even go to work, and now I have to be on bed rest.
Levi kisses my hand, "What are you thinking about?" He asks, I sigh, "It's nothing." Levi shakes his head, "It's not nothing, It's like a hundred thoughts are racing through your mind right now I can see it in your eyes." He says, "It's crazy how you can read me so well, but I just feel like everything is stopping me from just being independent." I confess, "I know I'm sorry you have to go through all of this, I wish I could do anything to fix it." Levi says, "You've done as much as you possibly can, I really appreciate it." I say, "Anything for you baby, I promise." Levi says kissing my hand again.

We pull into our driveway and see police cars parked in front of the gate, I get out the car first, the officer walks over to me, "Venus Brown?" The officer asks, "Yes that's me." The officer nods, "We were able to catch your ex husband Jeremy Noth he's currently being held in custody at the police station, we need you to come down to the station to answer a few questions." The officer says, Levi walks behind me, "Oh my god thats great that he's caught, but I just came from the doctor and I was told to be on bed rest." I say to the officer, "Okay we may need to do the questioning at your home if that's the only option." The officer says, I nod, "Okay thank you officer." He gets in his car and the other police cars leave. "They caught him Levi, they caught him." I say smiling at him, he hugs me, "Finally." Levi say's, "This might turn into a whole court case, but I don't care as long as he's not bothering us anymore." Levi nods, "It's fine we have a lot of evidence against him, I'm a witness to everything he's ever done to you." I smile, "Thank you Levi."
