A little step closer PT2

VENUS POV

I come back to reality, I now have most of my answers. The man that was chasing me in the flashback wasn't Levi, but it didn't sound like Levi was outside of the door anymore so I opened it, to my surprise Levi had his back against the wall as soon as he heard the door open he looked up at me, his eyes were sad he wasn't crying but he looked hurt. I bent down to hug him, "I'm not angry at you I was just trying to understand everything Levi." He stays silent, "I had a flashback just now of the night of the accident, the male wasn't you, I don't know who he is but that doesn't matter now that I know it wasn't you." I hug him tighter.

He looks up at me, "I'm not mad at you either it just hurts, I tried my best to make sure your comfortable with me like how you were before, but I just ended up making you confused and scared I should've just told you everything from the beginning."

I sigh we both were just stressing ourselves out and all we needed was communication, "It's fine babe all we need is communication, don't try to hide anything from me about my life anymore okay." I say

Levi nods, "I don't want to loose you for real, we've know each other since I was a freshman and you where a sophomore, and I've been in love with you for all those years, but you chose the guy that was horrible for you, that beat you, and made you feel worthless, and the fucked up part is, you still married the dude, I had to attend your wedding knowing deep down inside you were unhappy, that shit made my heart shatter. There was a time where you came to my house almost hyperventilating because he forced you to get an abortion, you cried in my arms all day until you fell asleep. Anytime he hurt you you came to me, and I was always there for you that's why I don't want to lose you."

Tears filled my eyes how could I be so dumb that the perfect man for me was right there in front of me. And that son of bitch really made me get an abortion? I'm realizing how much I put Levi through and it hurts my heart.

But I still had one more question, if was married to Levi for a year, why was my ex husband there when I got hit by the car.

"Levi, what happened the day I got hit by the car."

Levi sighs, "Are you sure your okay with knowing?

"Yes I just want to know."

Levi inhales and exhales "You and him got married when you were 20 and I helped you leave him when you where 23 this is important because this means you and him were no longer together but because he's an obsessive bitch he tried to harass you while you were with me. But the day he was successful was the day you got hit by the car. I wasn't home that day because I was working, while I was at work you called me scared because your ex was at the house trying to find away to get inside, so I made sure to leave work immediately and go over to the house by the time I got there he was already inside but you hid so he couldn't find you, when he saw me walk through the door he immediately tried to swing at me but I dodged it, and ended up punching him in the face and from then we just both went at it, but I guess when you heard all the noise you came out from hiding and that's the last thing I saw before your ex knocked me out with some object, by the time I woke up it was already to late you were gone and so was he so I immediately thought of the worse, I went outside to look for your car and it wasn't there and I was completely panicking until about an half an hour later I got a call from the hospital that you got hit by the car I didn't waste anytime going over to the hospital, and when I found out that you lost your memory I was heartbroken because I thought I would've lost you.

That was a lot for me to take in Levi literally has risked his life for me, and that's why he had those cuts on his face at the hospital, I don't want to lose him either, but my ex could mess that up still because I don't know where he is.....
