(This story is about the main character who is dating Natasha Romanoff who has hypothetically been dusted in the events of Avengers: Infinity War)
There I stood, outside the door.I had dealt with this for so long... but this?
This was the end for me.
There's no looking back now and it for sure won't be something to miss.
I fled away from home, the leaves rustling in the wind,My hair swaying in unison with the trees.
Finally, there I was on the outskirts of my home town.
All my memories flood in with the autumn breeze.
For a split second I think if I should turn back. The consequences to my actions would be harsh, but I didn't want to know.
And I zoomed out, with no set goal, just to go far, far away,
Prancing like a doe.
Then the joy fades and I can feel it all.I get pulled away from my feeling of extreme bliss.
There you stood with the one you left me for.
And you come towards me, I know what I miss.
You said the one thing I was waiting to hear,My ears perked up ready to go.
You reached out to me with your loving hand,
I took it in mine and then you were gone.
You faded away once again in my hands.I'm sitting there on the battlefield,
Next to my sister who has faded too.
My broken heart still hasn't healed.
This situation hasn't helped,I shall work until I can retrieve you back.
You shall return in my hands,
I will do anything, I refuse to slack.
-
It's been five years,I miss you too much.
My brother says you'll be back
With just one touch.
I've talked with the others.And he's decided
To sacrifice himself.
But I've been guided.
I've told myself I shall do the same,To get my sister and lover,
I will be gone.
Without her, I shall hover.
I shall watch over her,My beauty and grace.
She can be with that man,
He shall take my place.
