Sometimes when you find love
You might fly like a graceful dove.
I was like this long ago,
Back when my mind was free, my heart could flow.
Love changes your perspective of life,
Sometimes you just won't kindle strife.
You become so obsessive,
So when you're alone, your mood might be depressive.
She and I were gloriously in love,
But now I'm above.
I've been forced to change,
And it's quite strange.
They all made it hard,
I was caught off guard.
I was sent away.
But before today,
I never knew
How far our love flew.
It's been years now.
She still won't allow
Someone else in her life,
Not wanting to kindle strife.
We talked long ago
About things we wouldn't know.
If we didn't work, I told her to get someone else in her life
But she still refuses to get another wife.
My lovely flower, where shall you grow?
Your heart wouldn't show.
Open your mind to those
Who desire you, who knows?
Maybe one day you can move on merrily,
But for now, I shall watch over you wearily.
