It was meant to be,
Yet not approved by society.
I tried to reach for expectations,
But this was who I was as a creation.
We shouldn't have done it,
We should've quit.
I was addicted so bad,
I was way too glad.
The day they knew was the day I died,
The instant it was mentioned, I just wanted to go hide.
She and I were just right for each other,
Everyone else said we should get another.
I was forced to leave, as was she.
None of them heard my honest plea.
I should've been punished, it shouldn't have been her.
Then they made us transfer.
Both of us are far away,
On a bright morn' to others; to us, a dull day.
For us, there's no way to look,
It's as if we're a crook.
One day, my dear,
We shall meet again with no fears.
But until then,
We will wait to meet each other once again.
