Synopsis: Y/N is twenty and Harry is thirty... Y/N is also a student and Harry just so happens to be her teacher

Y/N was a student at Kingston University in London. She was studying psychology and had just started her third year.

University was nothing like she thought it would be. She had been to the odd party in her first year, she wasn't much of a party animal but she did want to make friends. So, instead of a quiet night in, which she'd much rather prefer,  she'd be forced to go out by her flat mates to some of London's most popular nightclubs. She'd spend the majority of her night sat in the corner, sipping on a coke or lemonade and wishing it were a nice cup of tea.

It also quite lonely. Although she enjoyed her own company, she did like to talk to people but with her flatmates taking differing courses and her inability to make friends, a lot of the time she'd be cooped up in her room studying and watching Netflix whilst wrapped in a blanket, eating her second pot noodle of the day.

In second year, things did get easier. She'd spent a lot of time working during her first year, saving up to buy her own apartment. Her family was pretty well off, with her father being an architect and her mother being a doctor, so she was fortunate enough to have them chip in as well.

She had made a few friends through a book club at the University who were quite similar to her. They'd meet up once a week to discuss the books they were reading and sometimes she'd even get asked to go to lunch with a few of the girls. She couldn't describe the excitement she felt the first time she'd ever been added to a group chat.

Now that she was in third year and she had a consistent routine whilst being buried in uni work, she didn't think there'd be anymore surprises awaiting for her, until she woke up one morning a week before classes started with an email from her adviser.

Dear Students,

I'm sorry to say that I will not be returning to Kingston University this year due to unfortunate circumstance involving a personal issue.

In my place, your new adviser will be Doctor H. Styles who will be advising you with your upcoming dissertations. For some, you may even get him for some of your lectures.

You have each been given a time to meet him where you can introduce yourselves.

I am so sorry to be leaving you so suddenly but Doctor Styles has plenty of experience with his profession and I'm sure he will aid you in getting the best possible outcomes with your final year at University.

All the best,

Professor M. Stone.

Y/N almost wanted to cry. She loved her advisor and was excited to have her on board with her dissertation. She looked at the attachment at the bottom of her email and clicked on it, the page full of names with a time stamp next to.
