synopsis: harry is a lovesick puppy,,, yeah
Harry woke up alone on the first day of the month of May. This made him very upset.
It wasn't very often he'd wake up without someone beside him or climbing on top of him in the early hours of the morning.
With a huff, he rolled over in bed, hair dishevelled and lips puffy, his cheeks a soft pink. He looked out the window where the sheer curtains were blowing from the summer breeze and the sun shone though, trying to find a reason as to why he had been left to wake up alone.
"Milo, I'll get you you're food in a moment!" His ears perked up when he heard the melodic voice of his little love from outside. He immediatly sprung out of bed and pulled a sweater over his white vest, he didn't both putting any bottoms on since he was wearing his boxers and their cottage home was in the middle of nowhere.
He walked outside and caught sight of his girl, watering flowers with her pink watering can that had little, white daisies on it. Their dog, Milo, was running circles around her in hopes he would get her attention.
It wasn't often Y/N was up and watering her plants at this time of day so he was confused as to why she decided today of all days on waking up so early.
She was already dressed, wearing cream dungarees and a white blouse underneath with puffy sleeves. She had her red wellington boots on and her hair was tied back with one of Harry's scrunchies.
Harry rubbed his eye with his fist and walked over to Y/N. He snaked his arms around her waist and pulled her in tight, sighing at the feeling of her skin and the fresh scent of sweet pea and vanilla. "Hi bubs," He murmurs, kissing her bare shoulder.
"You're awake." She sighs, relaxing into him.
"Woke up without you, didn't know where you went." He murmered against her shoulder.
"M sorry my love, I woke up early. I didn't want to wake you, I know you've been busy." She places her hands on top of his which were wrapped around her waist.
"S fine baby, just don't like waking up without you." He kisses her cheek and looks down at the flowers she cherished and had been growing ever since they moved into their cottage home.
"Wanna have breakfast outside today? It's so sunny," She smiles, looking up at him so he can see her pretty eyes.
"Just wanna go where ever you are today." He was in a clingy mood since he had been away from home for some time due to his schedule.
"I can make us some pancakes, Milo's hungry too." She giggles and pets the puppy.
Y/N turns in his arms and wraps her arms around his neck, pecking his lips and smiling when he leans in for another. He picks her up, holding her thighs as her legs wrap around him and carries her to the porch. He sets her down on the steps and pulls each boot off, kissing her ankle before following her into the kitchen.
Y/N pulls out the ready mix for the pancakes as Harry feeds Milo his breakfast. He pulls his sweater off due to the heat, leaving him in just his white vest and boxers. He comes up behind Y/N and covers her hand which was holding the spatula and kisses her jaw, "I love you."
"I love you too," She hums.
He walks over to the stereo and turns on Y/N's Francoise Hardy CD. The song 'Loving you' begins to play and he walks back to her, swaying their hips together to the song as he buries his face in the crook of her neck.
"I'm obsessed with you baby, don't think I've ever loved as hard as I do with you." He confesses, he just couldn't seem to get enough of her.
"Will you love me forever?" She asks the question they always said to each other.
"I'll love you beyond that." He turns her around and kisses her lips.
Once the pancakes were stacked onto a plate, Y/N got the table ready on the porch and they walked out together to have breakfast in the sun. Milo settled at Harry's feet as they sat down, Y/N sitting on his lap despite the three other chairs she could have chosen from.
Harry admired Y/N as she ate her breakfast. The sun was glowing behind her, framing her face like a halo. "You're so golden baby." He grins.
"Should we go to the lake today?" She gaps, "Oh Harry we can bring a picnic too!"
"We can do anything you'd like bub." He chuckles at her excitement, her eyes gleaming in the sunlight.
"Oh Harry, it'll be so fun! I can wear the new swimsuit you bought me too." She squeals with delight and stands from his lap.
"Hey," He pulls her hand and forces her to look at him, he takes the time to kiss her nuckles, "Don't go without me."
She giggles and stands inbetween his legs, running her fingers through his hair, "Seems as though I have two puppies with me today."
"It's because I love you." He grins, cheekily, before following her upstairs and preparing for a sunny day by the Lake.
