Chapter Sixteen

Another familiar face and voice have been revealed to Vixyn.

"Sapphire..." Ulit niya ngunit may bigat sa damdamin siyang nararamdaman.

"Get behind my back, Vix!" Si Percy na hinila pa siya papunta sa likuran nito para itago. "Who are you, Miss and what do you want?"

"I'm here to talk to her." Sagot ni Sapphire na itinuro pa si Vixyn na nakasilip mula sa likod ng asawa. "I'm her sister."

"She has no sister! So get out of here before I call the police!" Banta ni Percy ngunit hindi man lang nagpakita ng kahit na anong reaksyon ang babaeng kaharap.

"What do you know about her?" Balik naman ni Sapphire sa lalaki. "You don't have any idea who she was. I am Ruby's sister and I know she knows me, she remembers me." Sabay tingin kay Vixyn.

Alam ni Vix na tama si Sapphire dahil tuluyan nang naging malinaw sa kanyang utak ang mukha ng kanyang mga kapatid. Tila ba nabuo na ang puzzle sa kanyang isip dahil pamilyar na sakanya ang mukha at boses nito.

"No, she didn't and her name is not Ruby, it's Vixyn!" Malakas na ang boses ng lalaki. "Just get the fuck out of here and don't you dare come near my wife again!"

"Sorry, Mister, but I cannot do that." Seryosong-seryoso ang mukha ng dalaga. "I need to talk to her- I mean, -we need to talk to her."

Pagkasabi niyon ay lumitaw na rin sa likuran ni Sapphire sina Diamond at Emerald.

"Del Fierro?! What the fuck is this about?!" Naroon na ang kalituhan sa mukha "What are you doing here? And who are these people?!" Tanong ni Percy kay Astrid.

"Percy-" biglang tawag ng isa sa dalawang lalaki na lumitaw rin doon.

"Ellis?!" Gulat na sambit nito. "What the hell is going on here?! Can somebody just fucking tell me?!" Galit nitong sigaw nang makita ang kaibigan.

When Vixyn held his hand, he calmed down a bit and looked back at her.

"Percy, I'm sorry." Ani Vix na napayuko pa. "I know you wanted me to just forget everything about my past and move on with my life as Vixyn." Panimula niya. "But I can't do that." At saka nag-angat ng tingin. "I need to remember everything, to know the truth behind my past. I am now convinced that I am Ruby and they are my sisters."

Muling nilingon ni Percy ang mga tao roon lalo na ang tatlong kababaihan. He can see the similarity between those women and his wife. Their emotionless face and fierceness are visible and he sometimes saw it in Vixyn whenever she's acting differently.

"But this will only worsen your condition-"

"It is getting worse because my memories are trying to come out but I am stopping it. I just want for this to end. I want to know what happened to me and why I don't remember anything. I want to know exactly what are those disturbing dreams I've been having." At pinisil pa ang kamay ng mister. "Please, Percy, let me do this. Hayaan mo akong maging si Ruby. Don't try to stop me now because I won't do it. I don't wanna hurt you but I must do this for myself, please."

Saglit pang nag-isip si Percy at nang makita niya sa mga mata ng asawa na talagang desidido na itong gawin ang gusto ay wala na siyang nagawa kundi ang bumuntong-hininga na lang.

"Fine, you do what you want to do." Na umatras na patagilid upang bigyan ng daan ang mga bisita na makapasok.

Nagsipasukan naman ang lahat at ang huli ay si Ellis na naging kasamahan ni Percy noon sa NBI.

"Let's talk outside, Dude. Let's leave these ladies here." Aya ni Ellis sa kaibigan.

"How did you end up with them?"
